Being a copper member doesn't change your rank, it only gives you the privilege to post images(and other additional perks you'll find in the link below). You'll remain a newbie until you earn one merit at least.

Hello, I am wondering why my account's rank does not get upgraded to a higher rank while I am active on the forum? I have been "Newbie" for awhile and this rank does not get changed till now specially after I paid for a copper membership. Anyone has any idea?
