In general, what is the wisdom of buying an old newbie account, I thought the account username was unique, but does anyone know a stronger reason?
Acquire it in a sense of a collectible, perhaps? Given that it has a Unique name, and it’s old. Still, in that sense, the account seller overrated his newbie account with no much history.

Maybe he should try NFTing it before the hype dies completely  Cheesy

I don't know, but I remember that in the pre-2015 stage, buying and selling accounts was not an activity that deserves a negative trust from some DT members, and many people used their accounts as collateral against Bitcoin, and those accounts were sold if the person failed to pay the debt, so perhaps he was the owner of that account He is one of the old people, but he should have checked the forum before trying to sell the account.

So he just woke up his newbie account is sell if off?  Grin

The owner must really be in a tight corner financially. I hope he did not get REKT recently and decided to have a crazy idea of selling his account to get some quick cash. How could anyone have known about Bitcoin by 2013 and still have no idea about generating genuine income through it in 2022?

I have also tagged the account seller.

Here's why one would be interested in buying a Newbie account. There is nothing special about this account except that it was registered in 2013. This account seller may not know exactly how the account cannot be sold. By doing this, the account will get more tags and the reputation will go downhill. The owner of this account may already understand. Community members don't want anyone to think that selling an account is normal. This is because scammers can use this account for future scams. So it is better to be careful in advance.

yeah true, copper membership account is far better than a newbie account he is offering but I guess the user thought that the name "B!tCoin" and the account's old age could fetch some value for its "uniqueness". well, he thought wrong and now the account has negative feedback from a DT member.

I don't know if someone will take that offer to a newbie account even if it was created way back in 2013 what's with the account, it's much better to have a newbie account with a copper account than buying this newbies account, some members will be interested if its a hero or legendary account, but its not recommended to buy an account its still better to work with your rank.
