I've also lost my password account (not this one).
I think I was not hacked because the account activity is stuck where I stopped it. But I never receive the recovering email (even in the spam folder).
Something is wrong with my email address, it seems...

I also have the proof that I own the account. I sent a signed message to Theymos a week ago without any reply.
I try the other administrator today. Still nothing till now.

So I can't help you.
The question is : how long this recovery procedure takes ?

Yep same here... still no answer. I don't understand. Are they on vacations or something?

Since I wasn't using my account for a while, I just thought it was a little bit strange when I was trying to access the account and it was telling me that the password was wrong. So I tried to go through the recovery but it was telling me the email was wrong... that's when I saw something was terribly wrong... I'm still trying to reason how the bastard was able to do that...

Probably he got your password through the database leak in the year 2015 happened here, back then I was not a member but during that time a leaked database of tons of accounts of bitcointalk was being sold on darknet markets which you can find with TOR browser. Once he got your password, he changed your email and password and is using your account since then I believe.

As I said the only way for you to recover your account is by signing a message from an old wallet you have staked (if you have staked) in the thread I told you above. There is no other way as far as I know.

Yeah, I still have access to my old wallets. it is a blockchain wallet. what do you mean by "if my wallet was staked"?

"if my wallet was staked" means did you post your bitcoin address in the older posts? Or did you send your Bitcoin address through PM to someone? And if you can sign a message using the bitcoin address?

Read this post for the instruction to restore your account. Good luck.

Thanks Svelto,

I already went ahead and followed the intructions in the post and sent a PM to Theymos, but up until now had no response. I was able to easily sign the message with my wallet and provide the required information however, it seems they're ignoring me...

Did you stake your old btc wallet address here?. Stake means probably post your bitcoin wallet address with a sign message from your bitcoin wallet for the future purposes like lost/hacked your account. staking your wallet address is strong prof that the account had been posted is yours. if you do that before and post it in that thread, there is a chance that you can retrieve your old account. but if its not. there's no other option,

additional,
if you staked your old bitcoin wallet address  and did sign message before you got hacked. then check it if there's anybody quoted your stake for the strong prof. you needed to retrieve your old account hacked.

No! I was hacked. I have checked the email was hidden and there are new posts in russian or something like  that. The F*?=&#"! bastard is even integrated in a sig campaign... what should I do??? it seems that the moderators are not helpfull at all...

Check if you have staked your old bitcoin address in the "Stake your bitcoin address" thread in the META section of the forum. If you have access to that wallet, sign a message from that wallet and then contact theymos with the signed message from that wallet. This is the only way theymos can recover your account ,by proving ownership to that account.

Hi there Guys!

I have another account in this Forum which was opened back in 2013. I haven't used the account much latelly, and the last time I tried to access it I found out that I did not had any more access. It seems that someone hacked my account. I already sent a message to Theymos, already reported the account but up until now did not have any response.

Can anyone help me with this issue? I have proof that this account is mine and I really want this account back. Can anyone tell me what can I do at this point?

Are you sure it was hacked? Maybe you've forget your password.
You can check activity of that account if somebody posts something with it. Check it profile and activity. You can see there latest posts on bitcointalk
