Depends on what the advertised service is and where the sig is posted.

Ok guys but i`m not necessarly measuring the conversion rate of 1 service/product (i can just do that my own, post my affiliate link on my signature and then count it with a link shortener or whatever, as ACCTseller pointed out).

What I actually want to measure is the efficiency of the signature space itself (and not the content what it advertises), if you get my idea.

Or in other words, what i want to measure is not this:

This is only my impression. I do not have any statistics to back up.

What is the accuracy rate of the forum signatures? And by accuracy I mean the CTR or Click-Through-Rate.
how much visitors can you expect /week?

Depends on what the advertised service is and where the sig is posted. Assuming you are refering to sig campaigns, my guess is that CTR is high in the first couple of weeks and gradually falls afterwards. I believe a majority of the members here would have seen a version of the sig at least once in the first month, but they might not have clicked on it. The effectiveness of the sig ads shouldn't be measured by just the CTR, because sig ads are exposure for the site. Some services requires longer exposure to gain trust.

But i just want an estimate, for example for my account a Member , how much visitors can I expect for example?

If it is just you posting (1 member account posting 20 posts a week), a handful a week would be an optimistic estimate.

To measure how many clicks each user gets on a certain time period is easy. All you would need to do is use a link shortener for each participant in the signature campaign. Then you can monitor how many clicks each user gets on their signature, and a good way to measure efficiency of a particular user would be to compare this to how many posts they are paid for.

To measure how many impressions a particular signature has is going to be significantly more difficult, if not impossible. If you were to assume that each time a thread is viewed that everyone views every single post, then you could measure how many views a thread has as of immediately prior to when someone makes a post and subtract that number from how many views a thread has at the end of the month. Not only would this be very difficult to track, but also people will often only view the first page, the last page, or the last few pages of a thread.

For example: you advertise Website A on your forum signature, you have posted 1000 constructive posts, all of them having website A on your signature, how much visitors can you expect /week?

Now i know this depends on the quality of posts (that attract people's atention not just 1 liners), the size of the box / colors / theme in general -> which depends on the forum ranks, and various other variables.

But i just want an estimate, for example for my account a Member , how much visitors can I expect for example?

Also if there are signature campaign creators here that are willing to share their website visitors count / week, and the forum users that promote their signature configuration i would be very thankful.

It's just for personal research, i`m curious how efficient the signature campaign advertising is (and not just on this forum, but in general as a marketing model)
