Are you the owner of issue #8297?
The developers are mostly active in GitHub so it's best to just continue the conversation with the developer there.

If you're not the owner of that issue and you meant your using "ACINQ trampoline node",
then there's little the developers can do since they don't own that trampoline node.

This is quite the downgrade but, the way to prevent that issue is to opt-out on using trampoline routing and open a channel to a well-connected lightning node.
You can disable the setting in "Tools->Preferences->Lightning->Use trampoline routing".
Upon disabling the setting, you'll receive a note concerning the disadvantage of not using trampoline routing but it's mostly during the first few minutes when you start Electrum. (in every restart)
Refer to the lightning icon to see your current connection to the lightning network.

Have been trying for over 3 hours to get a lightning payment through. I am always getting a "Payment failed - No path found" error message, and the log shows "TRAMPOLINE_FEE_INSUFFICIENT".
Very ftustrating, lightning payments are effectively unusable with this.
