It is because of this that sometimes I do not understand why the forum is not more popular, a great deal of the information that you can find on youtube or social media are lies or exaggerations that distort the truth.

But here, even if you can find that as well, the mistaken information is immediately challenged, so there is not much time for newbies to read incorrect information about the market, however I suppose that people prefer to believe the lies they are told there instead of actually listen to the truth here.
The forum has helped a lot of people including me, I remembered the days I keep on losing money trying to invest in Altcoins, it is very painful to remember because I believe if now I would not make such stupid decisions and will apply caution to my investment. We keep on learning every day both in the forum, outside and through someone's experiences or our past experiences that's a good step to acquire more knowledge.
Do not chastise yourself that hard, at the beginning it is very common for new investors to make mistakes, that is simply part of our journey since at the time it is difficult to distinguish what is a good advice from a harmful one.

The danger is that many investors never overcome that stage and they either lose everything or they get discouraged by their dismal results, only those that persevere and look for the truth can see past the lies they have been told and understand how this market really works.

I ventured into cryptocurrency in 2017, and since then, I've gained some experience and knowledge, as well as profits. One important lesson I can share is always prioritizing research on a project before investing, planting seeds during bear markets, and harvesting during bull markets. I've also unfortunately invested in some scam altcoin projects, deeply regretting why I exchanged my btc and eth for their tokens. However, I now consider this a valuable lesson in my crypto journey.

Joining this forum has been the biggest crypto decision that I've ever made, I've gained so much knowledge about how to secure my coins and if I had started my crypto investment journey before joining this forum, I'd have probably fallen for any scam project that is hyped on YouTube, without carrying out any research. As far as crypto goes, the best choice is definitely Bitcoin, I'd always hodle over %70 of my crypto investment capital in it, then I will spread the rest on altcoins that I think are reputable and will give me ROI as Bitcoin.

Op what you have said is very correct. Many people came with empty knowledge but got the knowledge here for the time being they have stayed in the forum. The forum always have two golden statement that you are here to learn and when you have gotten the knowledge then you are to pass or impact it to others. And yes many have gotten the knowledge and they are doing well here. I have not invested any project that I have regret from it. Everyone here though not all but 99% have the experience and knowledge in bitcoin and they are happy to be an investors in the project. So appreciation is always going to bitcoin.

If you want to invest, invest in a project that has the knowledge of a community and has listed for some Decentralized Exchanges. Not all the projects that are listed in the centralized exchanges are genuine.

Absolutely correct sir. I am a beneficiary of this forum in the sense that my knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency was fully established here in this forum, and that was possible because of the help and mentorship I received from you guys, who have gained so much knowledge in advance. And I believe there are many who also have the same experience with me.

They say experience is the best teacher, but learning from other people experience is much better and less expensive. You must not wait for it to happen to you before you avoid it. With the experience other persons have, that made me to make a decision not to buy any altcoin but to hold Bitcoin only, so I haven't had any regret of Lossing my fund via shitcoin or scam projects.

Every user here has gotten a certain amount of knowledge because of experience over the time that we have been in the cryptocurrency space
And there's no doubt that there are also users who haven't had half as much experience and knowledge as the others
What knowledge have you acquired or what particularly investment decision did you make that has shaped you into what you are ?
What project did you regret going into or regret not going into that you feel could have affected you positively
What project did you indulge in that you are thankful that you did or what project are you thankful that you didn't indulge in

We have a lot to be grateful for in cryptocurrency forums, it's simple, we have had extensive experience and obtained satisfactory results in every project we have undertaken.
Day by day, the world of cryptocurrency is becoming more and more well known among the lower class, even big investors have participated in the project, our main capital has gained a lot of knowledge and basic experience so that we can make a profit in cryptocurrency. Thank you, more and more, live it according to the rules that work, of course the business never betrays the results.

Very interesting topic OP, when it comes to investing in alt and sharing experience you would find that many have a lot to tell cause it's a very risky environment and lots of bitter sweet stories are told of how they either lost all their funds to scam projects or how they got that life changing profits from another project, I would just keep it simple it's hard to find out which altcoin is the best and what I've learnt is to always do your own research no matter what nay crypto influencer says about any project and only invest what you can afford to lose cause many good project that we thought would be the next died on the way and with our money, learn not to follow greed speaking from experience I know what greed had done to me in time past which I won't go into deep detail, most of all priotize security and self custody is the best.

I just move on and won't dwell in the past. But if there's one that I regret, it's always been selling Bitcoins at the early stage of my holdings. They're quite hefty amount that I was able to buy early when I got in but that's okay. I still manage to sell them in profits before and used it for something better. That's the consolation that I can give to myself upon investing on it and that's why it's normal to sell at the times of need and never regret that you're able to do so because you used the money wisely. It's applicable to everyone that will always regret selling early and upon seeing the token they're holding, it soared high.
Sometimes we need to take difficult decisions that we may not like at the time, but as long as we do the best we can under those circumstances then there is no reason to regret anything as we could not have done things differently.

In my case, like most people I heard about bitcoin years before I bought any of it, a mistake without a doubt but one that I do not regret, because even if I had bought bitcoin as soon as I heard about it, I was not ready for it and most likely I would have sold my coins for a loss anyway.
Yeah, that's likely the situation of many that thinking if they've heard Bitcoin too early, they'd be rich by now. But no way, they'd for sure going to sell upon having like a jump of 10% and they'd say that I'm out of this bitcoin thing and I'll take my money back.
It's easy to say that because we all know the worth of Bitcoin nowadays but before, it wasn't as big as it is right now and that's why majority of us would likely sell whenever we've first heard and bought about it.

I agree that theory is difficult to memorize and simulation is not as flexible as imagined without daily experience. even I personally bought crypto a long time ago only armed with local cex and guides in the app. Depositing money with a small nominal and buying with basic trading knowledge on yotube a few hours, I do not regret the sweet experience.

For regrets, maybe I sometimes still have until now if I execute too quickly and it turns out that the price trend continues pump, Cheesy it's human because maybe minutes can change in the opposite direction outside of analysis. I don't take it too seriously because I can be careless in a moment or will continue to hope when I analyze wrong. I better enjoy.

I have made lot of investment mistake in the past which have also sharpened my knowledge on this crypto space I have invested on the wrong projects and wasted money on them which have made me learn in the hard way, this time around I give my self time to study any project I want to invest my money on.

I don’t rush into new project because of hype or how they say the project is going to turn out to be, those are just what project owners wants us to believe, you need to do your own research in other to get what you really need to invest in and don’t ever leave the research for other to do for you do it your self and get the information you need that way you can invest in the right project.

There are many projects in crypto not all projects work in the same way and there are many fraud traps, so investors need to proceed with caution. Bitcoin is one of the best projects in crypto. There is no rigging in it and holding the investor for the right time creates opportunities for every investor. No risk for new investors both will earn good profit from here. Bitcoin is the best project I have ever seen.
Bitcoin is a paradigm itself that brought about every other coin, and it has proven itself several times so I don't longer consider it as a project to be mentioned in this kind of situation.

Maybe we can talk of Ethereum as an altcoin that has also done very well after Bitcoin, I think it's best fit for example here in the altcoin discussion.

Yes it's true that with the current rate of pump and dump coins in the crypto space has made alot of investors to be more cautious when gambling with their money in the cryptocurrencies.

Knowledge in cryptocurrency is good and highly recommended but we must be careful not to think that knowledge of cryptocurrency is all that is needed to make a successful career in cryptocurrency investment. On several occasions it has been discussed that most great investors in cryptocurrency just had basic knowledge and not the highly sophisticated knowledge is need to be able to start investing and properly managing the investment.

I have learnt a lot be being in this forum and one thing I am always happy to have learnt from this forum and which has helped me a lot in my cryptocurrency career is the DCA method. It helped my to be able to buy small quantity of cryptocurrency but regularly unlike when I was waiting to have big amount of money to buy large quantity and in the end not being able to invest.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the potential crypto market and help me learn many new things. Since learning about Bitcoin, that journey has really helped me learn more skills at work and also knowledge about society. I remember the time when I was skeptical about Bitcoin as a scam, but after sitting down to research, I realized that I had completely misunderstood it. The process of accumulating knowledge and the lessons of success/failure in investing has brought me a comfortable life, and that gratitude really cannot be expressed in ordinary words. Indeed, I highly encourage people who are looking for job opportunities to try learning about crypto as it will bring a very different perspective to how things work in life.

It has been one year since I have been in the crypto space and from that time I am just holding. The majority of my investment is in Bitcoun and the minority of my investment is in altcoins. So, for now, what I learned so far is that Holding assets has less risk on our investment we can lose or gain but if we are not comfortable with loss we can hold it for the long term until it gives us profit.

Besides this, from the time I have been in the crypto space I have taken trades two times which were day trades and both trades returned me nearly 2x profit I have a very small holding that why I am not doing any trade after this bull season I will see if I have to start trading I will start with small amount at the beginning. Actually, trading has risks to our investment that's why firstly I will start from a small amount if it goes well I will start to do more. Although it is so true that all trades are not successful if the majority of my trades will return me a good reward I will start to take trades accordingly.

I don't think it is all about indulgence; I feel commitment and practice give you better knowledge of how things work in the crypto space. I have participated in a lot of crypto-related projects. Some failed along the line, while others were successful. So, right now, the level of knowledge gained from those experiences has helped me understand and know what is right and wrong, what to do and not do. This has helped me shape my investment lifestyle and has been worth it. If there is a better way to express how happy I am because of the knowledge I have gained from crypto, i would do it.

Just as you have said, some of us here don't enough knowledge as others in the forum and I'm one of those who have little experiences, I have not been long in the forum and this my firstly bull run to experience and I believe it will give me a lot of experience once it's over.

In the crypto space the paradigm Bitcoin has been the best experience some of us has in the forum but I'm yet to be amongst them.

Looking out the level of my experience and exposure in the cryptocurrency world, the biggest lesson would be the mistake of not investing early ans my biggest experience is my ability to understand the security of my wallet. I don't regret anything cause it all gave me an opportunity to keep working and with so many blessings and lessons learnt while being here I think it's enough to say the blessings are far bigger than the pains.

Though I have never been involved in any shitcoin or altcoin projects, the knowledge I got in crypto and Bitcoin is very enormous, I have particularly put all my interest in Bitcoin studying many things about it, bitcoin asset investment is very complex, but just that one needs a basic knowledge to invest but if you want to fully involve yourself in the business you will have to know all the inevitable events that are bound to occur as the year goes by before you can call yourself a bitcoiner, mainly I now know how to recognise a scam projects, I didn't regret anything because I was never part of any project that will make me feel so, but among all, the major knowledge I acquired is how to use my wallet and the best wallets to use to secure my assets.

Maybe counterintuitive but I realize that I'm bad at economic decisions. I happens to enter the crypto market at the wrong time and exit even on the worst time. I seem to have every of the most decreasing coins on my portfolio but the coins I had recently sold makes amazing rise.
The thing I learnt from my crypto journey is you need to have patience. If you have patience and committed to what you believe in you'd achieve the success. I learnt it not form being successful but missing out from being. Buy the coin of your choice and don't keep looking at the price. Set your targets high and keep waiting. Your buying instincts are generally right. Just don't sell them at loss.

Part of the knowledge here is that this is still an online platform and you can still get into the wrong hand or platform through signing up with them, so be careful.

Another of it is not to invest on coins yet to be listed because at the end of the day they may not list but exit with your money. Wait for a coin to be listed and buy from the exchange.

A lesson again is not focusing on bounty because at the end it may turn out to be a waste of time for you despite how many months or weeks that you were involved with it. So life is a lesson.

A lot if missed opportunities but I didn’t regret that much since I cannot chase everything and we have to choose what is right and also sacrifice other things so you can focus on important things. We all have our own ways of learning and accepting that missed opportunities, what I did is that I just do DCA and even if I missed a lot of airdrops, I’m still confident that I can be good because of my investments.

There’s a lot of ways to learn the lesson, and most of the time the lesson that you’ll need will just happen in an instant. You have to be more wise and patience at the same time because learning will not be easy as it will always take time and sacrifices as well. Getting the right knowledge is what you need, don’t be confused about the other details and just focus on what you think is right that is in line to your goals and target. We all make mistakes so don’t waste a lot of time thinking about those mistakes, instead move one, learn from it and be the best version of yourself.

The clock is moving forward, so regretting the past will not change your life, and unless you learn from the lessons of the past, you will repeat them. Any experience, whether successful or unsuccessful, is an experience, and previous investment decisions, no matter how bad they were, must benefit from them and learn how to use them to improve your income and your lifestyle. The most unsuccessful experience was not selling when the price of Bitcoin was +60k. I thought that things would improve and that Bitcoin would continue to rise to 100k, but this did not happen.

Along all the projects I have been involved in on cryptocurrency, I would say bitcoin is still the biggest success I have seen. Investing in bitcoin is probably one of the best decisions of my life and I am glad it has made way for opportunities to open up. Not only is it a source of profit but it also has opened my eyes to the world of altcoins. I have also invested in some altcoins and I would have never learned about them if I hadn’t invested in bitcoin.

Right now I am monitoring closely the  projects I have invested on and so far they seem to be generating the results I originally wanted. Best of all for everyone, both experienced and new investors!

There are a lot of projects that I missed that went on to heights that no one expected and one, in particular, is Doge which I always had in my portfolio but not in a big chunks so I could have made a fortune out of it if I played with that coin more but I am not regretting and this is what I learned from the users, everyone has their own way of doing things so if we try to go after everyone's move then at the end we will be left with nothing at all.

I have in a hard way realized about diversification. Not only the diversification of coins but also how and where you keep them. Diversification among wallets and exchanges.
I have concluded that a defi farms, LP staking won't make you rich. They either give tokens that are highly inflationary or the rate balances to be equal or lower than bank rates.
The only thing I believe in are trades. Good trading plans can might give you more returns even in the sideways market.
But what beats almost all of them is hodling, If I had only held every bitcoin I bought around 18-20K half a year ago, I would have tripled my portfolio now.

most of what i learned is also from the guys in the forum. when they were talking about moving his coins to stablecoin after profiting from the bull run, i was curious why, so i learned it's how they make more money.

but there are more to it like staking the stablecoin and investing in other tokens. i'm thankful that i got into a crypto casino token as it helped me to survive the bear market and i still get to play around in the casino even when everything was crashing down.

Almost everyone who is in the world of cryptocurrency has gained knowledge from it.I am no exception. After working with cryptocurrencies for a long time I developed an attraction towards Bitcoin.I am now thinking of investing in Bitcoin. And investing.I am getting better at trading. And gaining more knowledge from trading. But my hope seems to be stuck in Bitcoin.Besides, some projects like Luna have increased my fear even more So I am more cautious about investing in any altcoin and meme coin other than Ethereum, BNB and Solana.

The most important knowledge that I learn on crypto trading is the value to hold Bitcoin no matter what happened because it always coming back to the top regardless of how dip the price during bear market. I experienced many bull/bear cycle that makes me confident that Bitcoin always coming back.

I don’t have any regrets. It I had the chance to go back to the past and correct any of the mistakes I made, I wouldn’t change anything because sooner or later, you have to learn it somehow and there’s always a worse way to learn. And I am not having any regrets because everything I did right or wrong helped me. Without the mistakes, I wouldn’t know what to fear and avoid. For me, I’d say that everything is good the way it is. I am grateful I got in and that’s about it.

The lesson that I feel the biggest lesson this market brings is "gratitude"
Just the simplicity of the process, whether it's success or failure, is a lesson for us. Each person will have different goals or be in sync with development ideals, but in general, we are in a space where competitiveness is determined by experience, not the short or long journey. As long as you are steadfast about it, any goal will be conquered.

Thats right. This is a highly competitive market and you need to be flexible about your investment otherwise you will be stuck with a suncken ship for a very long time. A project needs to be adaptive to embrace any changes and change its direction based on the market needs. I am sure most of the experienced investors knew about that. This can be the reason new project still make fortune in the market.

I could write a whole separate topic about this and i probably am going to later on.

There's no one specific projects i regret, as there are plenty of them. But in overall, some of the reasons i lost money in scams are hard to admit to myself in hindsight, as they were that obvious: Greed and disbelief. Disbelief is something you have when reality seems too scary and you start to say to yourself that you are just being patient, and this is just a dip.

I have made money with scams too, and i am thankful of those because i left early enough and made ton of profit, but after doing that for a while you start to believe that nothing can drop you from where you are. And eventually my arrogance got hit by reality.

I am thankful i didn't buy one nft with $10k even though my intuition told me it might be a good idea. It died soon after and at the time it was all of the money i got.

My tips:

1: When something seems too good, it's always a bad sign, but greed makes you close your eyes for any red flags. Greed isn't a bad thing in investing, but it shouldn't make you blind.

2: You will be haunted by missed moonshots more, then money lost in investments. Mind is weird that way.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
Life is always about choices.  Sometimes we are right, and we shouldn't be proud excessively. Sometimes we doing the wrong thing, and feel a little regret but there is no need to despair.  Just be grateful for what we have experienced and use it as a lesson for the next step.

This forum has really given me a lot.  Where I can gain and share knowledge.  I can improve my language and understand many new words in English.  Even though I decided not to be active for a while, I finally returned to a world that full of innovation.  I'm glad I can come back here and discuss with peoples all over the world.  sometimes it's the little things that keep us coming back.  It's all about the moment.  I hope you can also enjoy your presence here.
