GOOD!

Please lets not debate the details in here - this is the FUN thread remember?
Why let such inconsequential things as facts get in the way of having a good time?!!!

You might get hit by a bus tomorrow remember, that is also a fact!

OK who wants some beer? Can someone order pizza too? Pay in USD though cause BTC is on it's way UP.

There you go with the 'need instant results' thing again.

We were are a scam/failed company to most outsiders and most shareholders just 2 days ago. You need to give these orders time to happen. 1 day in and it is not going to happen. We need PR and some independent reviews. It will take off slowly but in a few weeks we will be selling shitloads.

I'm not asking for instant results at all. Shit I was saying that this was a startup and start ups don't just start and become rich it's hard work and a lot of time. I understand this. I'm not asking for instant results at all. I'm saying that you guys are the impatient ones, you guys are counting your chickens before they hatch.

Ken still has a shit load of stuff to do before we're even close to being in a reasonable position IMHO. Starting with the Financial Report, that missed the deadline of yesterday and moving on to verifying our shares and getting us trading. Plus we still have the MSD around us, we have no information about our 28nm chips and we have no expected ROI for this current chip/board endeavor.

Do we even know if the 28nm chip is paid for yet? No.
Do we know what the conclusion of the eAsic relationship was? No.
Do we know if Ken has a game plan for the next year? Nope.

All we know is Ken has some chips and some boards and is selling/planning to mine with them.

Don't get me wrong that is good great news, but great news doesn't wipe a slate clean or rewind back time.

Yay this is great, we've gone from nothing to potentially mining shitloads and/or selling shitloads in a few days. What's not to like here now?

Where did you see this from? From my understanding we've only sold 4 out of 103? which comes to less than < 10k. I'm all for being optimistic. But also from my understanding the Revenue if we mined from all these chips won't put is the black either.

I love the direction were going in. But it's not like we're close to landing on the moon yet.

The thing I keep thinking of is the situation 12months or 24months down the line. Everything is wanted in an instant these days and there is so little patience around. BTC won't get to 10k overnight, but it could be there 12months from now (Q2 2015). Internet usage/adoption shows exponential growth. There were massive infrastructure hurdles to overcome and massive amounts of hardware (PC's) needed to be manufactured and sold to allow for this growth. BTC adoption needs no such infrastructure or logistics investment, anyone with a PC or phone can use it right now. So we should see a similar growth to this - only even MORE exponential!!!

Where are we on the chart right now? I would say we are still in 1994.

Why the celebration? We're still in the red from what I've seen. We've merely found a way to get out. Now it's all about execution. Which is definitely not Ken's strongest point.

I'm happy with the most recent progress too but there are too many variables in the equation right now.

oh man..  I wish that's what I'd bought in at... I did manage to get more for under my original buy price towards the end there, but not close to that.. must have been down to the hours to get that price.

I shall post here.

Shit son, this has been a hell of a ride. I invested over 60BTC on this whole thing, like 40% of my btc holdings.

This was my first irl investment in a company. And boy I have learned a lot.

Looking for the ActM anual party that the boys at #activemining have been planning for months.

Cheer to my friends
LorenzoMoney, chairforce1, firelighter, kleeck, Bargraphics , (can't remember nickname)... cheers!

Been fun

I'm glad I got in at .0005 before bitfunder went down

Very nice. There are a lot of shareholders (maybe I'm one) who would have sold some, a lot, or all of their shares by now (for a big loss) if trading were active right the way through the last few months. I am thinking that somewhere along the line Ken has known the company is definitely going to turn a profit but if trading resumed so many shareholders would have lost out due to the negative sentiment. I do think that he has purposely done us all a big favour by not getting trading back up before definitive news of success is released. Obviously that's my view and he could never confirm that but if I was CEO and I knew success was coming (but couldn't prove that to the shareholders for various reasons) I would consider doing the same - if the shares had by accident come off the market already.

I hope you're not serious.

"Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome

If selling at a low would have been a mistake, I for one want the ability to make my own mistakes.  It's not for Ken or anyone else to decide what happens with my investments.

I'm glad things seem to be moving in the right direction.  It's good you're positive about the company, especially being so heavily vested.  But we're not there yet.  It's going to take a lot to make up for the last 12 months.

Wow.....so this really has been one hell of a ride.

The lows have been terrible. Seeing DTS unraveling infront of us was not a nice thing to experience, his desperation was a bit heartbreaking. And personally for me - having 90% of my BTC hodlings in this company and thinking too many times that it was all lost has been a real stress-inducing nightmare. You have dreams and make plans about the future of BTC and your own financial freedom, you see BTC go to 1.2K and think it's actually going to change the financial world but suddenly something comes up on the thread and your hopes are shattered, all your BTC are gone. That shattering moment must have happened to most of us here?

And there were the highs too - some of Ken's early weekly updates had me air-punching! I know another investor personally and we have been bouncing off the ceiling after some positive development or revelation. A bit sad but I've looked at houses, cars, counties to live in and all but built a new life in my head. Oh the sweet memories!!

So now it's actually happening. It's REALLY HAPPENING GUYS!
So come on, forget for a minute that BTC could crash and burn within the week, or there could be a meteor strike on Springfield, and just for now, just for right now today, while we still can, let's....GET EXCITED!

Most of us will have PTSD (Stress Disorder) about this experience for months (possibly years) to come so see this as a wind-down thread. We deserve a bit of space to unwind, and the main thread is not the place for that right now.
So post your pics here or post your favourite music Vids or talk about how you will spend your money or talk about what a total star of a dude Ken is or talk about the good times and the bad or just forget all that and cry with relief.

OK I'll start with this, it's a slow burner but around 2:00 it kind of EXPLODES!!! The kid you see - this is how I felt when I saw Ken's pics.

COME ON!!!!
