Any particular reason for this?

One less layer of trust, as long as you know what you're doing. And it won't be associated with your identity.

Doesn't necessarily need to be a paper wallet, you can also use Bitcoin-Qt client to make a new public address for BF that you can sign as well.

Thanks for the help guys.
Am I right to assume that I can't sign anything with a coinbase wallet?

Question Regarding Bitfunder Shares and Future Transfer.

My shares/assets are listed under a CoinBase public address that I guess is difficult to sign.  Will this be a problem?  Do I need to switch to a different public address?
I definitely think it'd be advisable to switch it to a secure paper wallet address.

(Bitcoin related text here)
I don't think some people are considering how good that article was; it's not good just because we were mentioned, but that we were mentioned in such a well known publication. Not to say it's completely trivial to be mentioned in a niche Bitcoin blog, but they really don't carry the same weight of influence. That kind of publicity is hard to grab. Whose name was sitting there right next to some of the biggest names in Bitcoin? VMC. That is nice.

"I don't know what you said, so I will assume you said what I feel like arguing with."? If you can't follow the conversation, wouldn't it be prudent to lurk moar?

Misunderstandings do happen. We can't all be perfect like you.

I googled =/= and nothing came up so I assumed you were meaning 'is equal to'.

minerpart seems confused about the meaning of "=/="
Not everyone finished elementary school math I guess.

Minerpart, it means "does not equal"

You are right. Ive never seen =/= before. So we were saying the same thing sorry kleeck. I googled =/= and nothing came up so I assumed you were meaning 'is equal to'. Maybe not using something as obscure as '=/=' is a good idea on a general forum? Visually it is far removed from the actuall 'does not equal' symbol that is clearly recognizeable.
