As suggested, posts only within the two ish week period are counted towards activity. Time spent online != Activity. It can be confusing, but basically the more you post, the more likely you are to hit these periods which give activity, since you only need to post once inside of them to gain the 14 activity or potential activity since you would still need equal or more posts than the potential activity for it to be displayed.
Right, so basically as I've always understood it, for your first 14 days on the forum you get 1 activity point added per day if you post at least once a day.  After that, activity starts increasing by 14 points per 14 days but only if you post once during that 14 day period--and the period begins on Tuesday/Wednesday depending on your time zone.  Does that make it any clearer, OP?  I haven't looked at your profile, but you should be getting up to an activity of 28 either today or next Wednesday.

Either way, it's going to happen and you don't need to worry about it.

I thought the total login time affects.
Yesterday my activity count was only 784 and today it has increased by 798. I saw that some members younger than me (included yours) have had more activity than mine, even 1.3x. The number of days since I registered until now is 1254 days.

I read about this in the FAQ section.

Does time spent online count towards activity?

No. It counts towards absolutely nothing and is a meaningless statistic.

AFAIK, Apparently you can have the same post count and activity count without really waiting for 14 days to gain 14 counts of activities, just simply by having at least 1 hour or more interval with your post since you create your account.
This is not true, the interval between your posts and activity does not matter. You are eligible to 14 activity points within a 2 week period, if you make at least 1 post during that period. You get the whole 14 points if you make 14 or more posts.

Once you spammed and posted within 1hr, there's a huge chance that the mods might skip the other post thus counting only on the most recent one.
The mods do not manually count posts and update activity, it's an automatic process. Also, such a task is not feasible with the number of accounts and workload on the moderators already.

activity is changing based on an post number in last 14 days, by 14 if you have more than 14 posts, and by number of posts, if you had less, so that is why your did not changed
you probably missed to see that prior to reaching member status, but that makes sense to have more time needed to reach member status, or all above statuses, not just by getting some merits, and posting daily, you need time to mature your status as well
from my point of view, it is a good thing, and helps against spam

I'm telling this by experience and not really by the main thread with regards to activities, and I guess this still applies tho.
Users will get their activity points no matter what kind of post they are making, even if it is a one word post so spam post doesn't count towards the activity doesn't make sense since mods are not in control of those things.

But I guess all the posts you made at some point got deleted so OP lost activity at that time period caused the loss of activity.

You are taking it too seriously 😂

You have just started in the forum and still there are a long way to go. Roam around a few weeks, months. Make regular posts. You will be seeing these activities are not much thing to talk about. We have users with over 36k posts and over 3k activities. These are some serious number has taken years after years.

Weird it seems there are some changes in account activity for newbies to members and almost all accounts that I check today have the same issue.

They have the same amount of activity and post except for rank position and merit.

Opppsss... I thought that there are changes on the forum but luckily I found one account with a different post count and activity maybe I just can't find someone with higher post and low activity.

Adding this "Bitcointalk Activity time" two weeks period and the exact date when as your future reference
