@Quickseller, better be careful with this. I don't know why, but this somehow doesn't seem good to me except the only fact that they are using someone trustworthy like you (quickseller) as an escrow.
I was told by a number of people via PM that this loan request is suspicious, however there is a signed message from an address first posted ~9 months ago here so he cannot later claim his account was hacked. TBH it seems like he is probably trying to sell his account via this loan, either way all parties agree to the terms.

You were told by a number of people that this loan request is suspicious? but yet I only received on Pm saying be careful from another member. would of been nice of you to tell me of all these PM's advising of  suspiciousness...

"TBH it seems like he is probably trying to sell his account via this loan, either way all parties agree to the terms. "

so you think he is probably trying to sell the account with the loan I give him/her... again no light of this till now.

I am the one giving out the loan and again only one Pm was sent to me. would of been nice of all the people that Pm'd you Pm me as well.

in that case this changes things.   I feel like I am left in the dark with all these suspicions

If you are lending, you better be aware of the risks involved. You can not blame others for that.
As for this particular loan, you better hope it is repaid as you will struggle to get 0.25 BTC for the account.

Yea I understand  not blaming any one. would of been nice to get the Pm's my way as well.

well I hope its paid but I am looking at the worst.

well lets see what happens.   Roll Eyes

Just to clarify account is secured correct?

Loan gets sent directly to borrower's address ?
Fee gets sent to escrow address?

Let me know dont want to mess this up.
Yes, the account is secured. Yes the loan is sent directly to the borrower's address, escrow fee is sent to my address. Please see this post with the specifics as to the loan amount and the various addresses to send to

You were told to get a signed message with resolves the suspicions. You should  be safe.

It is well known that there is a very high default rate among people who provide their account as collateral for loans. There is the obvious risk that you will need to take the account/collateral if/when the loan is not repaid.

High loan amount, High Repayment Amount, High Interest Rates and just a recently promoted senior account as collateral. Good luck anyways.

The loan agreement with grtthegreat is canceled. Didn't send the loan payment within the given time frame, and was performing sketchy actions on my profile while he had access (changing email address and other info)

I want to do this through an escrow now, still available?

I wasnt performing any sketchy actions. I was changing the password and email so that the amount is under my control. Unfortunately,  I had an Internet disconnection for few minutes and you thought I was not going to lend you.  Anyways, you have refused to take a loan from me,  it's okay for me.  Also,  it's good for those who are willing to lend you to be pretty much careful. Because these days, we have been seing many loans in the price bracket of 0.2 to 0.3 btc. Four such loans come up to 1 btc.

please read this before you loan.
Thanks for the update:  grtthegreat

onewiseguy are you available to do the loan with an escrow?
Escrow will have your account and will change the details, I will fund escrow at the same time account gets sent to escrow.

sign message with address 1AnonyArUmKTdyn1BxgRiVxNj7rRch3ctY

I will contact escrow and we can move forward.

this is taking long than it should....

Should have just escrowed the first time, I apologize.

I have verified this message.

Anony and onewiseguy will need to agree on a repayment amount as well if my escrow fee of .0075 BTC is going to be taken out of the .2 BTC being lent or if it will be paid in addition to the .2 BTC being sent to Anony.

edit: it looks like anony offered an interest rate of 25%, so the repayment amount would be .25 BTC if onewiseguy agrees to this

kind of the point of the account as collateral man so you cant get access to it.

escrow will be doing the same so you can have access to the account...

I understand that, but I would like for the loan payment to be sent before details in the account are changed.

Escrow will have your account and will change the details, I will fund escrow at the same time account gets sent to escrow.
This is a bad idea. The account should be fully secured prior to the loan being funded. The reason you are giving your collateral to an escrow is because you trust them enough to hold and secure your collateral until you repay the loan.

"This user's password was reset recently."

guessing some one already lent you the loan?

or account was sold/hacked?

Let me know so I can let escrow know, no escrow will be needed.

grtthegreat was given my account info, and from what I can see is currently logged into my account. If he doesn't send the payment within the next 10mins I will reset all account info and make the deal with you.

so you are logged in as well?
how is that possible if password was just changed?

whats the point of that if you can still log in?

well what ever is going on, if it is not settled I would like to do escrow.

From what I have seen recently low level senior accounts are not selling very well, or for very much. There is one person who is even selling their senior account for only .2 BTC. I don't think your account is going to work as collateral for a loan this large.

Why don't you send .05 to a trusted escrow, then I will send .25 to the same escrow and the escrow can buy whatever altcoin you want to buy, then the escrow can sell the altcoin when it comes due and you get to keep whatever profit from the increase in value the altcoin has? Minus interest of course

I would be more than happy to do this if I had .05 in my possession. Sort of why I was looking for a loan until payday this Friday.
How much interest are you willing to offer?
