I have been hearing a few people discuss Cardano in the past week, where is the best place to get some more information on the project? Seems they are just out of ICO and in the first phase of value increase so possibly a good time to invest.

@jubalix. The implementation also matters and under that, also the platform's stability and its roadmap. The development team and its leaders are also as equally important.

In your list, Peercoin is going nowhere and then Ethereum will run out of red herrings that mislead their community.

That leaves us to Lisk, which no one uses and Nem, which in fairness is doing ok considering its humble beginnings.

In any case, none of them is reaching the goal of mainstream adoption. I reckon that gap might be filled by newer platforms like ADA, not the ones released in the past.

Cardano's team has reviewed existing blockchains and take the best from all of them. While there are many contending platform coins, scalability will be key, and so far none has proven that they're able to do it well. If Cardano can execute well, it could very well rival Ethereum.

Cardano is built by a group of experienced engineers, & scientists from around the globe. Also, Charles Hoskinson who served as the CEO of Ethereum for 6 months plays a major role in cardano. Cardano is definitely "ethereum killer" as eth can not bring up proof of stake now and all the other flaws cannot be fixed now, which are already ready with Cardano.
Lot of potential for cardano

Hope that helps
