they told me that the user does not really know how to control the fees

Well, it's true : the nature of Bitcoin Wallet is to simplify the spend & earn bitcoins.
My demand is only for an indicator  Wink ... not a tool to change the 3 levels of fees in the Android App.

I'd like an option to manually input the fee. Warn the user once (and an option to disable this warning afterwards) if you must, but a manual option would be a good "advanced" option. If I set the fee, that is my responsibility.

I agree with you, most of the time we only have the option: economic (fee: 0.00005) normal (0.00032915) and priority (0.00060155)

That is, we do not have much choice, or it is too low or too high fee, why they not add an option: customize fee in sat/byte or in kilobyte?

Once I emailed them, they told me that the user does not really know how to control the fees, Really?? Seriously, andreas schildbatch...

When we emit transaction, we can choose from high, to normal and low priority.
And the amount of fees is displayed.

I don't know if SPV can know the size of the transaction but ... can we add an other indicator with the sat/B ?

With sat/B indicator, we can use this (example) site to view the latest sat/B fees in many realtime transactions : https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin and choose visely if MEMpool is used, too.

Thanks Smiley
