This is a simple things. but this can be useful for someone who wants to use a variety of emojis in their posts but can't use any other emojis outside of the forum because of the limited number provided by default in the forum.

Thanks for sharing this here
You can actually. Just add emojis you would normally add, when texting with a friends. Like in messenger chats, or WhatsApp chats. It doesn't show up when you click the preview button. But it will show if you post it afterwards. Just try it and you'll understand.

Here I am sending a modern day emoji 💰.

Does it mean is functioning over there as well? Someone complained of not functioning on their ends I don't know what could be the problems maybe their key is not a QWERTY keyboard. It's functioning correctly with QWERTY keyboard.
For QWERTZ and AZERTY keyboard I can't really tell but should follow the example on the image and try if it will function.
I don't really know about others but it worked for me. Maybe some emoji didn't work in preview option or after posting that's why they made the complaints. I had seen this shortcut before and forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me
SMF provides some smileys that can be shaped into images using certain codes. And I got these five emojis on same type but it doesn't show in the forum when we do posting. So I tried to do just a little scripting using those codes, to add those on the Smileys line. And also Did a little testing myself.  Grin

You can use this text codes, i don't know what they called though, without installing any extension or what on your browser.
Code:
>:D ^-^ O0 C:-) 0:)

Or just use your built-in emoji keyboards for android and ios, it probably will work. For desktop, just copy-paste the one from fb messenger to this forum. Or any Unicode compatible emojis available.
Mate, I also got the emojis in code form in this post first -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12552575
Then I saw that they had to be copied and pasted again and again, so I pinned them on the clip board. However, since I don't want to do that now, I created this script. If you take a closer look at the codes of my script, you will see that these same codes have been used there. And their names are probably evil , afro , police , azn , angel .

Hello @Crypto Library you have done a great job to present an easy way to add on more emoji's, actually I never knew one can add some although I later discovered an easy short keys to it without you going that much task.
There was a day I was trying to use a particular emoji I then discovered it on my HP laptop, which if you hit this command all the hidden emoji's display without delay..

To see more emoji's window key + : key

This is for window users I don't  know of iOs but I believe they should function the same as well, Maybe any one who is using Apple laptop should try this command if is working perfectly..

Wow this is amazing... this one I never knew thank you for sharing amazing trick.

Mac also have similar emoji keyboard and shortcut for that is Command + Control + Space.

have you tried it? because I did and it doesn't work for me, I am using Windows too. what happens on my end is that the emoji will show while you are making the post but if you publish or preview the post the emoji is not showing.

There's another shortcut for same emoji keyboard that is window key + . (period)

anyway, just want to add, regarding "window key + : key", you can also just right-click on the area where you are writing and a pop-up with an "emoji" option will show.

🥳 nvm, not sure what happened but it does work now for me.

I can confirm that the emojis are also displayed while writing the post, but I don't see them when I click the Preview button, which is the case with any emoji that is not directly entered from the forum. However, when the post is published, the emojis are clearly visible in the post, as you can see.

It is possible that some settings in your browser block the display of emojis, as is the case if, for example, you use the Tor settings for security level Safest.

I think you can also try to used another browser maybe use a chrome browser you will have them displayed.. They are perfectly working on my side, I don't if is from my system specification or products but I think it should work correctly over there.

I have done a test to see that these emojis will work or not and I found that they work like a charm without any issues. Your method really works and I can see those emojis on my post. In this post I will share a few of those emojis that appeared very good and I have taken those with the method that you shared.

Great you got them right..
You can use them anytime you wishes without having to go through long process to install some extension, usually I am that kind of person that always applied cautiousness towards everything I do with my PC or Smartphone since one can likely get phished at anytime. I just have to try my luck at the hard time then I got them discovered for you to get more emoji's after you hit the command you can also scroll down to see more emoji's😍.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
I've been on the quest to discover many secret emojis on the forum lately and I'm happy that I came across this post.. I do recommend this sort of post as being informative and deserves accolades.
Seems like you used a PC for the illustration above...I sometimes feel like they should be way you could to express your self based on your mode... Maybe angry, perplexed, happy,...ECT

New tools and features are being discovered every single day. I'm a fan of using different kinds of emoji, and I have been doing that in the past. Each time I run out of emoji's that's available on the forum, I usually make use of my phone to make my typing and conversation enjoyable for me, as it also allows me to use the ones that's on my mobile keyboard.

I'm far from my PC now, but I will really try this out when I get home and see what it looks like, so that I can at least save myself the stress of switching from desktop to mobile just so I can be able to add emoji. I will edit this comment if I eventually enable this extension and see how it works.

Anyway, if there are any other hidden emojis, you can suggest their codes
I am not a fan of those extensions to have in my browser. I think I have tried a few in the past but never felt secure. For emojis Emojipedia is the best for me.

1. Anyone who is an emoji lover can try it out for fun. And to do this first you need to add Tampermonkey or  Greasemonkey extension on your browser.
2. Then go to the browser and click on Tampermonkey in the extension option and click on Create a new script as shown in the image below.

3. Then copy those codes on below and paste them here and click on the save option from the file menu - and done

4. And those who are mobile users can follow this topic and use it on mobile too. You just need to download Kiwi Browser or any mobile browser that supports extensions.

Basically, I'm not really expert at scripting, but I use all of TryNinja's scripts. And for now, I followed some of his scripts and tried this thing, although I did not get direct success, seeing that I was not getting output, I went to chat GPT and took help. I'm just trying

Anyway, if there are any other hidden emojis, you can suggest their codes
