Yes you can connect 2 different PSUs using ADD2PSU. That's what it was made for. Been using one for many months now.

Thanks a lot, that's what I was looking for Smiley I repeat, the 2nd PSU will  be powering 3 cards along with their risers separately from everything else, although all 6 GPUs will be connected to the same motherboard. There shouldn't be a risk of mixing electricity or anything of the sort

Not at all, especially if you are using good quality risers.

I've always used USB risers, never had any beef with those wonky IDE-like risers

I currently have a 1000W PSU powering 3 R9 280X cards along with the MB, risers and CPU. I wanted to see if it possible to use Add2PSU to connect a 850W PSU which will solely be powering 3 270X cards along with their risers

from what i understand all risers should be powered by the same PSU that's powering the mb

Hey, I just wanted to ask whether it's possible to connect a 750W PSU with a 1000W PSU via Add2PSU. Are there any risks in connecting such PSUs? Thanks
