I want some opinions from developers and coders about adding a bitcoin feature to Open Whisper Systems.

I feel that Using Open Whisper(or something very similar) as a starting point is a good idea because it is open source and Edward Snowden has endorsed it.

Bitcoin should serve as a paywall for messaging and phone calls(possible video chat in the future) between users...very similar to the approach Composed (getcomposed.com) used for email. However, I think adding this feature to a secure communication platform will allow for a very interesting dynamic to take hold.

The beauty of bitcoin is that people can choose to charge as little as 1 penny or $100(or more) to chat or receive messages. This idea could only work because of the features bitcoin has. Initially I think this would be ideal for people looking to get professional advice, counseling,  and consulting.
