Most likely that's the change address. When sending out some btc, The Qt client will create a new address and  send change to this address. You will see the change after you finish syncing all the blocks.

Hi, newbie here, first post.

I had a few bitcoins in a wallet on my PC, but syncing blocks took too much time and space, so I wanted to move them to Coinbase.

I am on a Mac, using Bitcoin-Qt.app, version 0.8.5.

I first sent a little to a Coinbase address, to see if everything worked fine, and then sent the rest. Here are the transactions as recorded by Bitcoin-Qt.app.

As anyone can see on blockchain.info, there is no transaction 9fc9884e744034ec5d3b32f60be52c1f8c6b76cfc6474565289105a9d4004524. The bitcoins went off to another address, 16CiidBwtR9CTVXGDRtB1wYwCW7VARwPux.

The initial transactions in the two wallets appear to have taken place at the same time, 2011-07-08 14:23:29.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?!?

Cheers,

Jens
