Greetings to all. This is a debate that lately is very fashionable in the world of cryptocurrencies and more specifically in the world of ICOS, the famous pools. For those who do not know what a pool is, I enclose the Cambridge.Org definition:
Pool: A number of  a particular thing, such as money, collected together for shared use by several people or organizations (Dictionary.Crambidge.org)
Specifically, a pool in the world of ICOS is a group of people who put together a large amount of money to reach the minimum amount of money (200 ETH or more) that the projects ask for in presales or private sales and that many people but most people cant obtain this amount. In this post we bring the different advantages and disadvantages that can be found in a pool and I encourage you to participate by counting experiences and adding data that you think is relevant.

ADVANTAGE:
To be able to invest in projects that could not be invested for insufficient amount of money.
• Not to be aware of news about the project, since it is the pool itself that provides you with this information.
• Not having to study the wide variety of projects we face, since they are studied by a team of professionals (in most cases) who save this work and only want to invest in the best projects  to have the community members satisfied and to be accessing better agreements every time.
• To be able to access large discounts.

DISADVANTAGES:
• Trust our money in third parties.
• Psychological suffering. Will they return it to us?
• Fee charged (although it is usually despite benefiting from the discounts that are accessed)

It differentiates between investment funds and pools, an investment fund after all performs the same task as a pool, the difference is that the investment fund is regulated by  organization and gives possibilities to claim the money against the law, a pool does not give that option and therefore if it is not organized by someone you trust is not at all advisable.

I hope you like the discussion, I am looking forward to seeing your answer.
