Another factor you are advised to consider is the changing in GDP. There are some countries where the GDP goes from worse to better or vice versa. I suggest building a concept that can handle these changes, handling them automatically would be very spectacular, I think. Also, in some countries the size of GDP does not express the value of the given ad in that market. You could categorize not only users, but ads as well.

This would depend on which ad network you are using. Some ad networks have their own coefficients for different countries so you might want to follow their pattern to some extent. Also, some ads are specifically targeted at the tier 2/3 countries so reversing the coefficients might be a good option when such an ad is shown (if at all). Just my $0.02

Hi,

I am developing a bitcoin faucet and I want to add country coefficients, so that the claim amount for some countries will be higher. This is based on the fact that ad networks pay more for some countries than other.

I think some faucets use coefficients from 0.8x to 1.2x. It looks like the moonbit.co.in uses at least 2.0x

Do you guys have any idea about what is good coefficient for rich vs poor countries or how this can be reliably estimated?

GDP would work well.. GDPxy

Link GDP to a GeoIP table...

Thanks for the idea!

I have checked moonbit faucet, and it has 3 different levels of payouts:
24, 62 and 130 per hour
