I did make a report with a note, but the report is still unhandled to this date. Meanwhile, the user continues with his usual low level spam while linking his website.
Are the current mods having too much work to do lately?
Have you explained in detail what he is doing, using exactly the same words and only changing links? Anyway, I reported last few posts and left a little bit longer note so let's see if that helps as posts left by this guy are epitome of a low value, even by altcoin section standards where he usually spreads his stuff.

edit: all of his posts (94 in total) containing links to the website have been removed. Thnx mods!

I don't know why he is allowed to do that. He is not just breaking the rules about spamming and low-effort posts because they are all spam and low effort. All he does is change the name of the coin and the hyperlink to his website. The post content is the same. Rinse and repeat each time. He is also breaking the rule about advertising 3rd-party sites and services in someone's else's thread.

Have you reported him with a note to have the admins check his whole post history because each post is the same?
What's the status of your report?

I totally agree. He hijacks threads created by other members to advertise his own website. All posts are the same. He only changes the name of the coin in question. Low effort spam and illicit advertising of your own site and service in other people's threads.

This user: forward_habit_9365 has been massively shilling simplecryptoguide.com from the time he registered in 1st February 2022

Out of 97 posts, only about 3 do not have the link he is shilling.

Mods, please act, either a ban or delete the non-constructive spam

Time to drop a bomb again on that account. Few reports will do, mods will obviously see.
After having all but four posts deleted by mods last time round, the account is back again with the usual links from coinpedia. I don't know why mods haven't banned it yet but I will keep reporting the posts

The coinpedia guy seem to be very persistent and is back again with their usual spam. This time round they are trying to hide in the alternate cryptocurrencies boards.

Hope they get banned once again for evading ban.
Good catch man, ban evasion is clearly on the rules, these guys must have been forgot about it or they did it deliberately.

he is quite witty in fairness because he actually participate on the the discussion but sneakily include the link in his post.
He doesn't engage in discussion. He just makes posts with a couple of sentences and then adds a link to coinpedia and goes on to the next topic, just like all the previously banned accounts have been doing.

However, it is still a clear sign of shilling/illegal advertising thus need to be reported. With regards of the ban evading accusation, I'm still not sure of that because I can't see proof (so far) which we can relate to OP's posted profile.
The proof is there. The sole purpose of the profile is to only advertise coinpedia just like the previously banned accounts. I don't think any stranger would register on bitcointalk and then start off by linking all the contents of their posts to coinpedia without being affiliated to them.

It looks like I've found another shiller, but ain't aggressive because he seems to post only once a week starting July 30th. I already reported, and does this account deserve attention from the mod?
What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I see only 4 posts in July, and before that his last post was on 04 February - and bpip is showing 24 post deleted so far. Personally, I don’t think this is the worst example of shilling, once per week in altcoins board some would even tolerate as acceptable behavior.

To be clear, I do not approve of this behavior - but all we can do is report posts like this. I have to admit that I have no interest in altcoins, so I am not active at all in that part of the forum.

If you take a look at his last 8 consecutive posts, he's shilling https://pantograph.io. And out of his first 20 posts history, 17 out of 20 are promoting Pantograph (combination of with or without website or inner page link).

I think this guy is hired for shilling too. He is also posting the ANN thread with only one response here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54758732

I understand that he is tasked to promote Pantograph, but I don't think most of the timers here can't tolerate unnatural activities like this in the forum rather than being a conversational type of guy or interacting well with the other non-Pantograph threads or so.

What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I so hate those spam posts and vowed to not give them any blog impressions. Sometimes I see a really interesting topic, then get disappointed when it ends up being a typical Coinpedia spam post.

Though I mostly dislike censorship, this is one of the rare cases that I wouldn't mind banning coinpedia.org/* links on Bitcointalk. It's not like they're any good in the first place.

If this thrad is in meta, it will get attention from the DT who mgiht be intersted in penalizing the guy.
Why would a DT member penalize someone who is breaking forum rules only? Breaking forum rules fall under activity of forum moderator, admin. Report the posts and they will take care of the posts and author. On the other hand, DT members are here for ensuring a better trading experience for other people although we all are DT member to our own custom trust list.

....

DT members can not ban users, only moderators. Just saying...

And if you were thing thinking about DT members tagging a person with negative feedbacks, it will do nothing. You can receive a thousand you will still be able to post.

... and have had a couple of their accounts banned. I think they are committing ban evasions and mods should ban the remain accounts too

Everything he posts here is just inserting the links of coinpedia.org much like spamming at full steam.

Because I have no clue or I don't know if there is a feature here on Bitcointalk where I could just report this account and not each post?
You cannot report the user. You can only report posts.
The best thing you can do is to report one of posts and ask moderators to check the post history.

If this thrad is in meta, it will get attention from the DT who mgiht be intersted in penalizing the guy.  We've seen this happen before to which the user was banned for sometime. Clearly all posts are for the promotion of the article site. He must have been hired to build links.

Just use the report button and write details on comment box. If you can't report each posts then just report one and mention on comment to check that users post history. Moderators will do rest of the work from their side.

Edit - Someone have already given you the suggestion about report submission. Just follow that from next time.

As for the website itself, it was registered way back 2016 as I've checked on Whois. It may be an established site, so I suspect that account was used for "paid shilling".

Maybe some one is promoting their site to get payment from them but i haven't seen anything relates with that on their frontend. You can take a look on their author's  page and most of the authors profile have got no profile picture.

I don't know if the shiller is the blog/website owner or was "paid to shill" by Coinpedia?

Maybe doing it for SEO or backlink purposes? Hmmm....
This user have already created multiple topics where he is trying to promote a specific website named "coinpedia". Almost all the topic contain the same website link and it took my attention today on bitcoin discussion board where he opened a topic about an Australian who wants to sell his house through bitcoin payment. I don’t know you have already reported his post or not but i am gonna do it from my end to let mods know about his activity.

After checking post history its clear that he is trying to drive visitors to his own site by providing same website link.

Haven't reported yet, but thank you for reporting him.

Can the mods check this account please?

Profile link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/christy-joseph-2830919
Date registered: July 18, 2020

If you take a look at the post history, it was mostly blog advertising/shilling and ain't really natural at all.

The account averaged 1-2 "shill" posts daily. All except the first post were having raw and hyperlinks pointing to https://coinpedia.org

I don't know if the shiller is the blog/website owner or was "paid to shill" by Coinpedia?

Maybe doing it for SEO or backlink purposes? Hmmm....

Any thoughts about this one mods? Thanks!
