There are many website now a days to where you can purchase your coins. Mostly some people go to https://bittrex.com/ and https://poloniex.com/. Me myself do invested some coins, I tried dash but it is really not worth it because it is to low even though you earning but it will just take you days to earn on how much you want. I do personally market on https://mercatox.com/exchange and in https://yobit.net/en/trade/CONX/BTC but I would mostly say if you really looking for a site that the coins that you wanna invest is in is bittrex. Yes it is pretty much buy low sell high. There are some new coins that you can earn some but be careful always on trading. Before you choose on what you really wanna trade do your research more and don't stay on one coin the many the better.  Hope it helps  Smiley

Actually, another question, do you happen to know why they're all so bullish right now? Bitcoin's shooting through the roof and that's driving everything else, or people have just decided this is where the money is, or this is just some random aberration, or what?
Its not actually random but it normally happens because alts will eventually go on red when bitcoins price shoots up.Take note most altcoins as of now are on bears because holders are selling of their alts to transfer to bitcoin because we already see a rally right now and we dont want to miss the train again on securing profits.

Now is the time to pick up those coins you have had your eye on for a while, take advantage of the altcoin dip.
This is the best time actually because altcoins is on reds now because of bitcoin price increase but be careful on selecting on which coin because not all does have the potential to rise up and some of them would takes time to pump again or increase its price which would make for us to wait for a longer periods of time. This is the best advice if your a altcoin trader

A lot of the money going into Bitcoin right now is the FOMO (fear of missing out) investors. When bitcoin reaches a point where the market makers believe it's time for a correction, they put money into the alts which is "mostly" what we're seeing right now. Then of course the FOMO investors pile in as well and the market makers start to take their profit. If/when bitcoin declines, the market makers also move back to bitcoin. There was a couple little pieces of news today that are probably what drove bitcoin up today and thus caused people to pull some money out of alts. This sort of thing happens time and again here. This overall trends tends to hold true all the time. But you also really need to look at each coin individually. Some have been going up due to a some upcoming release alongside the general ALT pump. There are some that are being pumped by PnD groups as well. Lots going on right now but overall, there's going to be a massive correction for tons of this stuff soon.

what do you mean, the last minutes are indicating a dump? Where do you find a good news source for all this? Seems like everything's kind of disjointed, some of it isn't even in English, and some of it just seems scammy, I'm having trouble finding reliable sources. Sorry for all the questions haha.

i think there are simply more investors than before, it's not bitcoin that is driving the thing, it's more investors discovered about this crypto thing and are trying to differentiate from their nomral investments like stocks or forex, and the last minutes are indicating a dump on all the altcoin, not exactly a bull run

I was more thinking that the present pump is the third in the past few years, and I'm going to wait for it to dump and then I'll buy in, would you consider that a viable strategy?
Definitely that's what you want to do. Don't be the "dumb money". It becomes pretty clear when you look at a chart of a coin going back a few months up to about a year. You're going to see practically every alt coin in the midst of a pump right now.

I hate recommending coins. Assuming you're going to be smart, buy low and then sell once they give you a decent profit (not get greedy) and then rinse and repeat, then some of the ones you could look at are ETH (maybe even ETC), LTC, DASH, XMR, NEM, ZEC. Those are probably some of the "safer" ones. I would even put Doge in there as that's pretty much a nice 2x every "year". Beyond that you're going to have to research them to see what you really think.

did you take a look at coinwarz? They have everything there, you just might be able to find something. You also have "if it's profitable" column.

Dash is probably not that stupid choice, if you have no problem with rather grim history of this coin (multiple rebrandings and instamine among other things)
I would never touch Ripple, privately owned coins are not good enough to invest IMO. Take a look at all time price charts of Ripple.
Do you really think that present pump will be a long lasting or will it form new floor? Highly unlikely.

I'm trying to purchase some coins, specifically Ripple, Dash, and potentially NEM (would love thoughts on good coins to purchase right now), and I'm having trouble finding a website that seems reputable enough to purchase these coins. My goal is to do with them what I've been doing with bitcoin and ethereum, which is to buy, hold for a bit, and then sell before they start declining again (bitcoin especially, for the past four months, has followed a trend of gaining around $2-400 and then dropping $1-300, I'm trading in that range). Can you all recommend any good websites for doing the kind of buying and selling that I want to do? Thank you!
