In any case you should take profits otherwise you can get big losses.
When you fix the profit then withdraw it from the exchange no matter how big the exchange is keep in mind that they can be compromised.
This is all as you understood the basic rules and believe them it is better not to neglect.

I think this will be suitable for you, for those who are new to this market knowledge is very important. Ask yourself what are your reasons for choosing those coins, or are you just recharging your account and waiting for someone else to bring you coins and promise to increase in price. Trust me at the moment it is very easy to choose a coin to increase its price and increase profit in the account. The problem is that for newcomers, they often switch targets a lot, and that's why many people don't get maximum profit during the growth season.

Here at Bitcointalk is easy to get confused. Most here are in it for years and most have made earnings, some a few and most most many.

The people outside, are now getting in and more are getting in by the day... more money is printed by the day, ending up in the stock market and the crypto market.

when the bubble breaks it wont be just crypto affected, but everything, whatever we are sourounded.. better to spread our profits in different directions, that have everything in one basket.. take some profits, while reinvest other coins and have a balance portfolio

So how do you guys see this year going, Ive heard the bullrun will go into summer at least or into fall... but what does that really mean for the rising of altcoins between now abd then... Should I be chilling out on those investments until the 'winter'?

Dont have that kind of behavior on where you do really like to hear off those words or rumors that there would be some bull run with altcoins because it is an uncertain thing to happen.
Now that Bitcoin market and other top alts are really rising but doesnt mean that there would be flip out into other coins as well.I dont see for your Portfolio to be bad even though there
are coins which i didnt heard off but talking about ADA then im bit sure that this one will take off and the rest is unknown. When it comes to investment decisions then its up to you,
as long you can see that there's a potential on making profit then go ahead.Set those risk management thing in place and head on.

Don't get too excited and don't let your emotions ruin your great plans. Most of the newbies in crypto became careless when experiencing bull run or sudden pump. Don't know what to do, what to buy, what to trade etc. That will be the scenario if you let your emotions drives you while you are dealing a bull run. Before the bull run, you must already know what to do simultaneously.

One time or another you have to sell to make profit. As you have said, ADA as long term, but amongst the coin you mentioned, it is the one that I'm familiar with and the rest looks like shit coin to me, (don't get offended and don't take it personally).

But in any case that you have chosen those coin, and to avoid high gas fees today, why don't you just HODL then in the next 3-6 months and see how it goes? No need to shift funds as you have admitted you are still a newbie and you might get lost along crypto trading.

some erc20 coins do take a lot of fees especially if you trade swaps such as sushi and uniswap and it will be very influential where you lose 20-100 $ in transaction fees alone regardless of whether the coin is going to increase or not.
4year cycle every bullrun if it occurs in 2017 then this year will be the next bull even though it will not be exactly the same as last time but the crypto market has doubled from last year where the market cap touched 700 billion $ and now has reached more than 1.5 trillion $

Today I see prospects in Cake coins, which have grown so well in a relatively short period of time. In general, it is better to make your own choice. I think that you should not trust any predictions and advice. The crypto market simply defies any predictions.

I still don't understand why people are investing in crypto right now when most coins are already at a new ATH, this season is for sellers honestly not buyers, you can't buy coins at a new ATH and expect another new ATH, it's more risky and easier to lose money

We are in a bullrun and at some point, we will see the bearish season. You have to forecast that. If you are planning to invest long time in such a market condition, you are going to be loser at the end. In the 2018 bull, all the coins had ATH but right after the bull, value started to decrease and at some point, all the altcoins lose value like 99% or more from the ATH. So, don't plan long time now, ensure your profit and make sure you are using stop loss all the times.

I think this will be a good year to invest on BTC and other coins like ETH , BNB and DOT. Because there are a lot of new big investors on BTC like Elon Musk, After Tesla bought BTC last week I'm sure there are more companies that will follow what Elon did.

There are also lot's of new projects that is base on ETH , BSC and DOT that keeps on pooping so we'll expect that this 3 will be one of the biggest gainers this year.

There is also Uniswap where lot's of new coins can be traded so don't forget about it.

Just keep your investment when you are still on the big profit. It's the only prediction and the bullrun can last forever if there will be more and more institutions will be coming soon.
As far as I know that if people were also saying that if the 4 years cycle will be coming and it's not happening right now.
It's better if you are always watching the market rather than take that prediction.

Try to secure some if your profit to the stable coin to anticipate the bearish trend that can come anytime.

The bitter truth is some people will surely be caught in this bullrun no matter worth, do you know that some are buying at this ATH? Now that elon musk is even involved it shows that there will be more adoption soon but bullrun will never be here forever, this is why we must take profits no mater how small

My main concern is about future investment.... My ADA is a looong term hold no doubt about it. But as I wonder about how high peaked we may or not be in this bull market, I wonder if I should be selling any of these other ones off as soon as Im up a bit to play it safe, and keep the money on standby for if bitcoin and the whole market take a real good dip soon. I remember the last time bitcoin spiked like a mother, and it didnt last too long...

You want some advice? Don't be greedy, when there is profits do not hesitate to take because crypto is unpredictable, we can never tell what will happen next, some people did same mistakes in 2017 and early 2018 and they got trapped, forcing to hold for years, do not be a victim like they were

Things are different this year because crypto adoption is of high rate right now so bitcoin isn't going to go down like the dump off in 2018, the real crypto accumulation starts in 2021 and it's going to go for long time

Dont be greedy, take some profit of it, dont sold all.
But i think the bitcoin price will not extremely down like 2018 since there's adoption usecase of many cryptocurrency in the real world.

How can you profit if you're not going to sell if any of those got into the peak? and to avoid fees, I can see that you don't have bitcoin or you already own it?
That's what you need to add to your portfolio if you want to be worry-free with the fees and fluctuations. The rise for altcoins is undetermined and they're all dependent on bitcoin. You should see the sign if it's about to fall.

Howdy coiners, Im new to crypto forums, so intertested to see what kind of replies Ill get...

I want to lay out my current holdings and then voice some questions I have.

I have (These are all CAD prices btw, so 20 or 25 % more for USD I guess?)

Put $2000 into ADA at 0.68
Have 111 APY I bought between $3-4
Have REEF from trading, was recently worth $909 at $0.60
Have $100 so far into AGI at $0.32.

I suffered a lot for moving things around too much and paying ETH gas fees, but Im getting the hang of how to do this more wisely...

My main concern is about future investment.... My ADA is a looong term hold no doubt about it. I remember the last time bitcoin spiked like a mother, and it didnt last too long...

People talk about Alt coins pumping, and Im wondering if it's still expected this year that money will flow into them, or if the ATH we see with bitcoin kind of marks it, and we're likely to see decline from here until the next bull run? Because if I knew to expect that I might chill out with investing in projects right now, and buy them in those 'winter' times....

So how do you guys see this year going, Ive heard the bullrun will go into summer at least or into fall... but what does that really mean for the rising of altcoins between now abd then... Should I be chilling out on those investments until the 'winter'?
