I may be mistaken, however I do not think you can send USD from one exchange to another. If you insisted on staying in USD the entire time, you would likely need to withdraw to your bank account, then send funds to another exchange.

IMO the best way to do this is to buy BTC, withdraw to a wallet that you control then deposit to your other exchange. This should not take more then a few hours (counting the time it takes the exchange to process the withdrawal and the time it takes to get enough confirmations for the other exchange to accept your deposit. This should not cost you more then a couple of cents.

You will of course have exchange risk during this time. You could hedge this risk by betting that BTC will fall after 3 hours, but this would probably be unnecessary.

Thanks cryptomatt, if you think btc-e is a bit shady then where would you suggest I trade USD/Litecoin?

Btc-e is shady shit.  They might be ok, they might not be.  No one knows who they are.  They could literally just take everyone's money at some point and run.  Basically, use at your own risk.

That being said, the fastest way would be to buy coins on bitstamp then send them to btc-e and sell out.  Or you can do the bank wires out of stamp and back to btc-e.  Those are your only options.

I have a trading account at Zeroblock (Bitstamp) but I want to start trading USD/Litecoin and it looks like the best way to do it is via Btc-e. I already have USD deposited at Bitstamp but I can't see any way to link that API to Btc-e.
How can I cheaply move money to a btc-e account? I don't really want to transfer the USD back to my U.K bank account and then out to Btc-e again as this would cost a bit in bank transaction fee's.
If I convert all my USD to bitcoin and send it to Btc-e I would then have to trade bitcoin on the btc-e exchange to convert it back to USD Huh?

Any advice please?
