yes you have a few things

you have  aw3+ psu's  here is a nice extension

nice cable pdu to psu

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

two ways to hook up the psu's
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
since you did 1 circuit and  will need a second circuit for the second pdu

and you most likely can do 3 s-9s  pulling 4500 watts

you could add a smaller gpu rig.  pulling 600 watts to your setup.

but to properly use the 2 pdu's

you need 2 circuits

not the one you mention.

you can keep the pdu as a spare.

run 2 s-9's say 3000 watts
and a few pc/gpu rigs  say 2000 watts

that is one method  of using a 30 amp 240 volt circuit correctly

Thank you great information.

I will probably just run 2 separate new lines while I am doing the work, and be able to connect both PDU's and eventually 3 miners on each, depending on the power needs of the next miners I purchase.

I have the Monoprice PSU to PDU cords already I forgot to list those.

Are the extension-bars just for ease of connections and placement? They seem redundant to me otherwise as the PDU's I have contain 4 outlets each already.

my advice is that be ready for the unexpected expenses for the maintenance of the units because gadgets are prone to overheat. I suggest you put it in a cool place and get a man who will look into it so that it will not be a waste.

yes you have a few things

you can pull   240 x 24 = 5760 watts  max 24/7/365

and   220 x 24 = 5280 watts  low end  24/7/365

for now  this means  3 s-9s at a certain max on one pdu

or  2 on one pdu and 1 on the other pdu   roughly 3x 1500 watts = 4500

Hi everyone. I've been reading the forums for a while now, but just signed up recently so I can be an active part.

I have 2 S9's on order January batch with the AW3+PSU's direct from Bitmain.

I am running a new 220V 30a dedicated line with 10/2 to my basement, with L6-30R recepticles.

I have 2 - HP 200-240VAC 24A Modular PDU's ready to go. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-417580-D71-200-240VAC-24A-Modular-PDU-Control-Unit-Series-EO4501-228481-002/222456259626?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Networking all set and ready to connect the miners.

I plan an building 2 soundproof boxes using either old coolers or building with MDF and I have soundproof foam already. I purchased 2 fan shrouds for the miners that will remove the heat from the box, then I will use 6" vent pipe going in and out, into a Wye through an inline fan and out the above grade basement window for airflow and heat removal.

With some adidtional miscelaneous parts, cables etc I will have about $4k max invested.

My #1 concern is my electric rate is .195 in South Jersey.

Probably will use NiceHash and want to add at least 2 more miners but will wait for the next new miner to hit before doing so.

Anything I am missing? Pointers based on that setup?
