To be honest, I don't think it is a good idea to buy sha256 ASIC or hashrate, as you can hardly break even IMO.
Yeah, I would like to think the same as well since pbmining minimum package is 10gh which I could only afford 20gh. Increasing the power would require 2 months each 10gh based on this
http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?h=20&p=0&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=17336316978.50780000&r=25.00000000&er=636.34000000&hc=0.00

I also would like to avoid scrypts since it would be almost same as BTC mining in my opinion.

Hi,

I'm new in mining and I only got my Antminer u2+ as my mining device. Currently I am lost due to several things below

1. Should I buy more powerful rigs like 30-38gh or straight for a 180gh or something?
2. Should I buy BTC from solid cash like localbitcoins.com and invest in cloud mining like pbmining?
3. Should I stick to my antminer u2+ to mine other altcoins to slowly build up my BTC?

Of course I too have came up with my own conclusions related to the above

1. The difficulties would go up and 30-40gh rigs won't cut for the future difficulties and of course, other constraints like internet access, power consumption, etc.
2. Same as 1, but I could just cycle back the BTC paid from pbmining once I got enough BTC to get more power from them until I get into a comfortable zone. At this I could buy less than BTC 0.0758 roughly from the localbitcoins.com around my country.
3. Might as well as mine BTC directly but most pools don't allow manual payouts (I think there are but I've been on slush pool for several days and merged to other) below BTC0.01.

Currently I am mining trc, zet, bet, uno and ffc with cgminer into balance strategy, to sell them on cryptsy. I have a tendency of being only for a hobby, and then an enthusiast or serious into it.

I need advice since I kept hitting a dead end on those three scenarios above. And one more thing, I only got limited cash now (I mean real cash).

Thank you in advance.
