Mycelium is Android only mate, thanks.
According to their website or its GitHub page, you can find Mycelium for iOS on the app store. For example, check out https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet-ios.

It looks like the link is broken though.

Mycelium for iOS is mostly abandoned,
1. Last commit on GitHub is on Feb 24, 2020, while date of previous commit is Apr 14, 2017
2. Mycelium rating on iOS is only 2.2
3. There's 3 years gap between version 1.11 and 1.12

I wouldn't suggest Mycelium if you're iOS user

Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin
For iphone I use Coinomi and trust wallet, since they are both multi coin wallet they are more useful for me than standalone crypto wallets, I don't know if iphone supports atomic wallet, this is another good crypto wallet, do your own research

Coinomi is one of the good alternatives and easy use interface so anyone can get used to UI in real soon so the best choice for beginners when they are newbies. There are some others like Mycellium and Jaxx liberty but these apps are unstable and full of bugs so it may get us pissed while using those wallets.

If your friend is looking for a Bitcoin wallet then in my opinion Mycelium wallet is a good option. It is available for both the operating system. For Multi-cryptocurrency in my opinion Atomic wallet is a good option. They have an excellent support and have numerous features added to it.

Though it's not included in the wallets you've mentioned, the best in my opinion that's currently available on iOS is BlueWallet[1]. Though it doesn't have 2FA(along with a lot of wallets), it simply ticks all the boxes of my needs.

Of course, I only use my mobile wallets for my hot wallets(probably below $200?). Anything above that, should go into a reputable hardware wallet in my opinion.

Not your keys, not your coins!
You can get a list of wallets and find the ones for iOS and there are reviews for every wallets from https://www.cryptowisser.com/wallets
It is inconvenient now as the website does not support filter with operation systems. You have to do it manually.

Bech32 address can help you to save fees and you should choose wallets that support Bech32 address.

Gamble responsibly
Downloading wallet from app store is totally not safe because you can mistakenly download a fake wallet. Using the official website for any wallet to download will be better. Like electrum wallet the official site is electrum.org which you can download electrum wallet from. It sopport computer, Android and iOS.

Follow the quote to know how to download and verify electrum wallet.
The latest one is 4.0.9. Make sure to download it from here and verify the installation file. Your wallet should open without any problems since wallet files are not removed during updates or uninstallation. Do you have your recovery seed just in case?

Hi All

I use Electrum wallet on my laptop and have a friend that wants to install a wallet on his iphone.

I have read the sticky at the top and it gives this -

Mobile Wallets for iOS

Breadwallet
Breadwallet’s combination of simplicity and security has made it the most popular iOS wallet. iPhone users in search of their first Bitcoin wallet should findBreadwallet easy to understand.

BlockStream Green
BlockStream Green is also available in the App Store.

Edge
Edge (formerly Airbitz) is also available in the App Store.

Unstoppable (iOS)
It is easy to use, reliable, secure crypto wallet with focus on privacy. Truly decentralized, works directly with Bitcoin network. Open source, code is publicly available. One of few wallets verified by walletscrutiny.com to be exactly as published code on GitHub. Available on App Store. User-friendly design, non-custodial secure storage, privacy oriented features.

Which one closely resembles Electrum (with a recovery seed and 2fa etc?

Thanks
