As a newbie here in the forum i think the best thing that you could do is just to be active here in the forum as you could learn a lot of stuff about cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

You don't really need to worry about the ranking and merits, as long as you follow the rules here in the forum eventually you are going to rank up and most important is you are learning from other members in the forum.

One big problem as most of the newbies here are not actually newbies but just alt account trying to post some topic to get merits.

Wow, that's some biblical level knowledge just handed down to us by @OP, I never would have worked some of these out myself.


Learn by example? Jesus, that's pretty much revolutionary... OP must surely be some sort of savant or polymath to have deduced something so elementary, yet so powerful.


Observing means watching?! How did I get through almost 30 years of existence without knowing this! Truly, your words have opened my eyes for the first time.

Actually you have posted some good advices but my view is something different.In this forum here are many clues to be succeed.
My hint is just start discovering these clues and don't hear others hear only these what you have found good.
So discovering the unknown is the best way of success.

Yeah it's obvious that not every post that will be merited because not every post are quality post, But
Am proud to be a Jr member and its not easy

hard work is more important than talent
Success is not achieved overnight, but rather it is a ladder and successive steps. Your mastery of roles is what makes you succeed, you must win small side battles to win the war.
All of the members you talked about were bad beginnings with spam post many of their posts were deleted, but over time they became members with high-quality posts and help others rise.
No one is perfect perseverance and hard work are what make you unique.

The one who are curious how to rank up usually think only how to earn, and do it in the most quickest way.
They do not care about the "research and observation and hardworking", all they care is to get Member quick, join signature campaign and start to fill forum with "75-150 characters" crap posts.

Those who seek knowledge can use forum with any rank and without even being registered here. Those who see bitcointalk only as a source of income can skip this forum as highly paid bounties time are gone.

Hey. There are some ways to choose at beginning and the way one user choose and maintain it will decide how bad or good that one is. This in turn decides that one can rank up or not. Choice at beginning can be changed but there are some never change.

Some think they are here to rank up but they don't mind how to rank up without knowledge, contributions, etc. It is impossible.

Newbies are free to choose the journey they will go

Every newbies should realize their intention to join in this forum. At the beginning, perhaps most of us joined in this forum for learning. So, when we learn everything about this forum, including earning from here, then we concentrate to rank up. But we forget about our contribution to the forum. Rank up isn't really very easy nowadays due to the merit system. That's the main prevention to rank up. It's our bad habit that we always look for shortcut which is impossible for rank up. So, first we have to concentrate about our contribution to the forum. Share your best knowledge and experience with other users. It doesn't mean you will receive merit on your every post. Don't regret when some of your topics isn't merited, just continue your contribution with following forum rules. Help other users as much as possible. Then obviously community will give you good return once a time.

Newcomers got to realize forums before getting good advice and check out to rank themselves by gaining knowledge there's also without stopping to reading Nothing causes you to wise faster To bind yourself in reading If you're employed hard you'll succeed. Someone knows the solution to any of your questions Find those people After developing your strengths and skills stay there for a short time Don't attempt to develop yourself too fast it's better to manoeuvre slowly towards success.

Only few of those beginners are not thinking of merits and becoming high ranked here. We can observed that they are aiming to use it for bounty campaign in any case they achieved it. But thats okay its only part and privilege of becoming high ranked and their contributions to the forum.

But most people have different aims and goal like other mentioned here, if youre here to learn then its good but if your concern only is earning from bounty campaign, you will never rank only with that.

willingness to to learn thats the key as a newbie you need to add more knowledge every thing you need to know can be learn and every one is start as newbie .so what other members  know you can also learn it, you just need to focus and learning and not to increase the rank or to earn money .

The main reason for beginners today is just to get paid without the need to improve their posts. They will work on various bounty and airdrop campaigns to get money from some of these campaigns. Increasing the rank will certainly require a longer process and will not be easy with a merit system.

I myself was initially only interested in the income from this forum, this forum provides a lot of work that can make money. but after starting to go up in rank and knowing about crypto and blockchain technology and what bitcoin is, I have more goals not only for income, but for knowledge. You are right about income which is only secondary or as a bonus from our activity and contribution to this forum.

I think that generally people have different goals and definition of success.
Some people joined this forum because they are interesting in bitcoin or technology or something else.
Some people like to join different discussions and to be part of global btc community.
Unfortunately,  it seems that most new people here are desperate to earn some btc and join any signature campaign.
Many of them don't know English well,  don't even understand bitcoin or technology and basically they  are spamming forum.
I'm always happy to support new members, even with merits if they contribute something to the forum and I'm know that many other senior members do the same.
New members with positive attitude,  and if they work hard as mentioned in the post from OP,  other members will support and help and they will become successful members and receive respect.

Goals can be tricky at times. Most times we newbies jump into crypto based on what we've observed from friends that have been there (Into Cryptocurrency) and are elevating in the field or based on what we here from pros around us and we want to attain such hight as soon as possible. So, we set our goals so high with steps that to attain them that makes us evade a lot of required checking. Well,
The world or field of crypto is a very different and rather complex one. It takes years of mastering before you can barely understand it's precept and bases more or less what it's all about. The field continues to evolve every second so, if your goal doesn't involve learning as a greater part of it, your already failing.
It is good to be enthusiastic but, setting a goal with hopes to reach in no possible time without the willingness to learn and proper research don't work so well here.
The Bitcoin forum is specifically designed to trim and tackle all of that in due time so long as you remain in the forum by abiding to it's rules and principles. Which ever idea you might have come with, manage it with the rules and let the community help us.

In the first place, if you're on Bitcointalk solely to get a higher rank and to earn off bounties, you're probably here for the wrong reasons and is better off having a different venture. I'm going to bet that most of the so called "seniors" and "successful" members are here due to their interest and passion with Bitcoin, and that the earnings are just secondary.

I appreciate your effort, but I want to add a thing or two.

If new member comes to forum and his sole motivation is money and ranking up I believe he will have tough time, but if he comes to learn, expand his knowledge, help others and share his thoughts he will progress naturally in a proper participant of this forum. Ranking up will come as consequence of natural progression and benefit to both forum and the member.

I would call that a success and rank just a consequence of the success, not vice versa.

One of the main key of a newbie becoming a successful is the willingness to do anything in order to achieve a goal. If you are willing then many people will see you as a hardworking person but if you are not willing to do or willing to work then nothing will happen to you. Learning is always the first priority if you are aiming to be successful in that field.

Beginners are conscious to ranked up in the forum without proper research and observation and hardworking.

what is research? Rearch is a careful study of a subject or substance in order to make new discovery or information about your objective of researching.
Example: discovery of a new coins without been informed and understanding the concepts of bitcoin without complications.
As a beginner research helps to expand knowledge  without involving in plagiarism, spammer and other deviates characters.

What is observation? Observation is the act of watching environment or a community you find yourself and study it carefully for a period of time.
Also observation is act of learning carefully for a period time.
Beginners are to study and observe the platform very well before esponding or contribute to a massage.
Through observation a begginer can notice a board that is suitable for composition of text without misunderstanding of topic

Hardworking is the activation energy of begginers to make quality post without obstruction.
A begginer most follow the full steps of the seniors like the following @suchmoon,@ loycev,@welsh, @loyce777, @ upgrade. And other members who are highly intellectual in order to propagate.

When I read the posts of above mentioned names I understood that only good posts and activeness can elevate beginners.
