Early January is too early.

You need to hold at least three months to see the effects.

Here are three price suggestions for buying:

You can miss it though, so its better to wait at least till Wednesday, then buy at whatever price it will be.

Am considering buying bitcoin with some amount of money which isn't mine. The reason been that i hope to make profit from this, but the current state of bitcoin isn't encouraging although i have i hope for increase and am positive about it but i need to know if am not missing anything out (i will hate to be in debt).
Stop being dumb, never play with someone else's money ,since the price of bitcoin reached a really high market value at this time does not mean that the price will keep on climbing in the short term,we are supposed to see a good correction sometime down the line and never ever think about risking others money when it comes to investment.

Looking at coinmarketcap bitcoin nose-dived by 10.35%. I dont just want to see this cash lying fallow in my account without bringing in profit which is making me buy the idea of buying bitcoin and holding till early January for someone.

I need expert advise on this?  as regrading if i should go ahead.

Investing with money that are not yours? This is a great risk! And what will happen if Bitcoin starts to fall? I'd better restrain from doing it.

you can invest in bitcoin. but always remember don put you eggs in one basket a lot of altcoins as well that maybe you can buy also.   buy low sell hi your altcoin to have your profit

Things which goes up very quickly annoy stabilised at that pace so fall becomes mandatory in such cases . Bitcoin volatility drives prices such high that when it falls it crashes badly and within a day can easily fall 2 to 3k . So be sure to only invest a small amount so that on dip you can purchase more.

Also spread you portfolio among other coins as well for safety reasons so that you can average it when falls happens.

OP, I am not an expert but the best piece of advice I can give you is to "buy the dip" as I have repeatedly been doing.

Bitcoin's long term trajectory has been always up that started sometime in 2015, and I believe that will not change any time soon. Good luck and good trades.

Advice on if you should buy bitcoin, buy when it gets lower. So you can gain good profit in a long run. You should have a goal on buying bitcoin, for example you hold your bitcoin up to until year 2020. For sure you can gaij good profit and make sure you will not use or sell all you have buy on year 2020.

Yes go ahead. I've read in this forum asking what you are asking when the price was at $10000. Many were said that that was not the right time because of its value and some yes. But look at the price now, if they invest when the value is at $10000 maybe they gain profit. Same as your question if you invest now maybe you will gain profit soon. Just believe that bitcoin will increase more. I know you are afraid but you need to overcome it and believe that you will gain profit.

I'd advise anyone to invest as long as it's not with debt, not with any capital or funds that is not your own.    Investments should be with disposable income.   As in, money you are prepared to burn if necessary.   As in, it won't cause you hardship to lose it all.
