Topic: Aelf is skyrocketing (30% up!) before launch of own blockchain (Read 217 times)

It's normal in the crypto market for a coin to just grow to 30% increase over night, this is because something a whale can just be going through the market and see a coin which he/she wanna pump then put in a lot of money for the price to grow and then dump to make a lot of profit. They also invest in project that they see a great future in which will drive the price of the coin up. I think this is the case in Aelf.

I do watch on bittrex and some newly listed coins are getting pumped over 100% and with 2000+BTC of trading volume. I am not sure about credibility of their  trading volume as now a days people are suspecting about manipulation of volumes to attract traders.

You just hit it.. i see aelf like a new ETH, EOS, XLM... when it has its own blockchain, we will appreciate a huge change..

piiiiiiiiiii piippii... you are wrong.. the community is pretty solid and MULTIcultural all over around the world. Once again, you should remember aelf didnt any ICO, has it own private investors (15M$)
Sorry mate, i can agree.. in fatc i am not interested in pump&dump schemes at all.. but in organic growth aelf is holding the growth in price. I fileld bag with token at 0,10$, reached 0,15$ and is holding good the 0,135$ support...

Before i do any suggestion, i always do a propper research (ICO rating websites are just paid sh*t), and this takes a lot of time. Probably there are few good projects out there.. but i will stick to aelf as my TOP1, that can reach a TOP10 place in marketcap in the next 2 years

Ahh, this reminds me of EOS last year, I got much profit from EOS when it just about to become independent from Ethereum platform and it feels like an oasis in the middle of the red-bear desert of the crypto market. I just don't follow Aelf, moreover, the market condition is in very bad shape lately, so I am not joining the party. But for you that has gained some profit from this Aelf event, you better watch out and be careful, if you are too late to sell it you will lose your profit.

I think that's a normal thing and I need a lot of time to get into the top 20. You know, a strong altcoin always has many investors trust and willing to invest long with that altcoin.
but aelf only increased thanks to news and then it fell very quickly. This shows that a community is not united and there are not many loyal investors. It will be difficult for a strong development.

Thanks for sharing valuable information. Your prediction is right but i didn't check others. Wish i saw your post 3 weeks ago before investing to other coin. Maybe you can give more tips for buying well known coins,tokens.

Agree, continued updating and building a strong community are key to success. I knew about Aelf in 2017, and finally i got involved and joined helping team to expand in spanish market (i manage spanish telegram channel).. best decision i ever made, as i think this will get mainstream. I will quote some words of another of our team members_thanks John Stephans  -, that will clarify Why ælf is different and has a promising future:

The key drivers that set aelf apart from the rest of the projects are broken up into a few areas.

1) Nothing runs through the mainchain, ensuring speeds and efficiency are maximized - I'm not sure any other coins are doing this

2) All sidechains are independant of each other, have a sharding mechanism ot ensure performance can be retained, BUT they also have the ability to communicate with each other and other blockchains through adapters and the mainchain - Others are doing this, but not many at all and not quite to the degree or style aelf is

3) The mainchain will be running DPoS which in and of itself is an improvement to many coins, but sidechains can use any protocol they desire, they can be public or private chains - Not sure what other coins are allowing any protocol to be run on their system

Lots of coins had a "movement" in these days, the nice thing is seeing that they can carry on with updates and a good community even after the year long bear market.
