Speaking of gaming and crypto! Don't forget about the novablitz card trading + crypto based game this trading game tied to the blockchain is gonna be huge.

Telegram Group : https://t.me/Novablitz

Or their official website at : https://novablitz.com

Have you even read this thread? People have been talking about that game and it was even mentioned in the OP.

The game itself looks really nice, I hope it can get as popular as crypto-kitties.
It's definitely very good that it can't slow down the Ethereum network because the game itself isn't played on chain (as mentioned here).

PRN has been around for a while already, before cryptokitties and all.
You can create assets in the form of cards and soon trade them (almost out of beta) on their internal exchange, issue tokens with your assets etc.

Is the NVT token tradable right now? If its just a beta right now we can't sell or buy cards yet right? Have to wait for realease?

Their ICO is actually still running now, please visit novablitz.com there is still 12 hours left for the 8% bonus.  The buy/sell cards feature will come later.

Please join Telegram announcement channel https://t.me/novablitzofficial for more info on how to join this ICO.

No matter what the game, for most blockchain enthusiasts, as long as the blockchain will not be blocked, are acceptable.

I just checked it out on Steam and ran through the first 2 tutorial levels and it's a solid card game. I'll keep with it for the time.

Great.  Do join their vibrant telegram group in https://t.me/novablitz for more discussion.

Do we able to sell our card to another player just like what already did in the cryptokitties? But i can't see anything that gives a clue about the nova blitz related to or used ethereum blockchain. Because this is my first time to see about that mate. How that was actually surprising me. Just try to played and tested the game.

You can see Ethereum being mentioned in their whitepaper https://docs.novablitz.com/Nova+Token+White+Paper.pdf

From the whitepaper Page 7, players can easily buy and sell cards they earn.

Easy Trading. The Card Exchange system minimizes fees paid to trade cards, and
helps ensure liquidity for even the rarest cards. Best of all, it's 100% integrated into
the game client.

How many people do you think will use that coin or play something based on Bitcoins Blockchain? Or use that coins Blockchain in real life?
it will be digital collectible cards on blockchain (using ethereum blockchain) for trading card games likes Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone.

The game itself is already can be played on Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/388370/Nova_Blitz/

The game could have public pack odds and a trading marketplace and tournaments where you wagered eth and bound it in a contract for the winner. Something ala Hearthstone or Gwent.

Nonetheless, I would like to see if they could make it effectively work, but I feel like they'll hit some major roadblocks along the way.
Sign up for beta here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfG5ukRBwLJh8_IV2-tQ-jgFnnJEvTI4TK2FyYH0VbVFQV2ng/viewform
(available in iOS and Android)

Aside from that, the game is already running in production where users can play in Steam.

Thanks a lot. I just signed up for the beta and I'm currently downloading it on Steam.

Ethereum would be too slow and expensive to run most of the mechanics of the game itself.  It lends itself towards crypto kitties where a 'game sequence' might a something simple like breeding or selling a kitty.  Card games are many (dozens or even hundreds) of moves.

Would the tokens be used to purchase cards and hold tournies and then a centralized platform would be used to run games??
the game is already playable on Steam now.  http://store.steampowered.com/app/388370/Nova_Blitz/
The beta is also available in Android and iOS.

The Whitepaper is here https://docs.novablitz.com/Nova+Token+White+Paper.pdf

The in-game mechanism is not on-chain i believe (or else it would be too slow, and not playable and realistic at all), but the collectible cards themselves and the platform utility tokens NVT are erc20 tokens.

That's pretty awesome. I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on this. Especially if it has the possibilities to blow up like Kitties did.
