I have used Bit.ac few months ago and at that time there was no any issue with them. What I didn't liked about them was that they don't give you full access to your addresses so whenever there will be problem with their site like right now we can't use our coins.

If you are looking for good alternative to bit.ac, I suggest you to use jaxx wallet which is far better than any other multicoin wallet and they also give you private key of your addresses.

You should see this thread, this thread, this Reddit post and this Reddit post.

If they're a scam, they're a very confusing one which tries to manipulate you into thinking they're not using some really complex tactics.

The lesson is, store your coins in your own wallet.  No one can give you your coins back except BIT.AC themselves.

You could also make a complaint about the company, Bitbase LTD.

Maybe scam is an inaccurate term for them. That word is thrown around in this forum so loosely but the web wallet sure looks like it will do an exit scam soon.

I would think that they tried to be a good service at the beginning but now theyre struggling to maintain the site and will run with their user's funds if they think they can get away with it.

I dont think bit.ac is safe to use anymore. There was another thread about and the ex-users there were saying that they cant move their coins out from their wallets. Please use the search box, it shouldnt be hard to find.

There are so many bitac users complaining about this issue from this forum, and sometimes bitac profile link => https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bitac-759772 respond to this issue but I dunno if they resolve this already, anyways since you contacted them already maybe you have to wait them since they are the only one who can help out there.
This is the best thing you can do as of now as blankcode suggested better to contact the person which you can see on that link. Same as yours ive been seeing lots of issues on bit.ac regarding on withdrawal issue and I'm quiet confused if those previous issues have been resolved already or still pending. I cant see any confirmations or words from bit.ac though related to this matter.
