Ignore Dan Pena! he always tries to make such comments to stay in the spotlight. He is no doubt a charismatic man but I wouldn't say he is an economist or a financial analyst. So OP can you tell us and explain to us who and why Dan Peña's opinion matters to us in thousand words? I had to google him. Is he really one of the world's richest people? He is not even a billionaire, right? There are nearly a thousand people that are billionaires and I believe Dan Peña is not one of them. Actually, I do not even care much about Elon Musk's crypto opinion so I don't see someone that believes Putin is Satoshi Nakamoto worthy of my time.

Why will Dan Pena be banking on ETH to take over BTC when it's more obvious that ETH was created by a Russian developer?

I doubt he is sure about Putin being Satoshi. But because his Wallstreet business is shaken, he wears his tinfoil hat to drag Putin. He has to blame it on someone. It went viral for a while when he spoke about it lol. Maybe he is right or maybe not.

First of all Dan pena will talk about something that will benefit him one way or another, and secondly Dan Pena's opinion doesn't matter what he thinks and knows about bitcoin.
Ethereum has no way to overtaking bitcoin (personal opinion).

Btc will never go zero no matter the circumstances and even if it is possible for ethereum to overtake btc, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
