This is a good idea but poorly executed.
How can you rank someone first, second and third? Does the server continue until only three blobs remain? Is it after a certain time limit? Also, why have people invest towards the jackpot, when there is no benefit between investing 1 satoshi or .1 BTC, or not investing at all. A better idea for a Bitcoin based agar.io game would be to require a payment each time a player spawns, and passively pay out players depending on their position on the leaderboard. (1st place would earn the most BTC per interval, and the smallest blobs would earn little to none).

well yeah now its unfair because people who did not invest anything would be able to win first place, lets hope another version will be better

But how can you know who has been the higher ranking in the past 24 hours?
Maybe the person running the games could watch it via spectate mode, what a nightmare though.

I will wait and see if this project is worth putting my BTC into.
I was thinking we could run some betting games around the current site but its just too awkward. It deserves a proper site with accounts/deposits/withdraws etc.

There is already an Agar.io clone being developped for Bitcoiners as far as I know , I saw some thread speaking about it on the Gambling section however I'am not sure about the progress , also I have the same question as 98problems , nothing really happened when I did what you said

I didn't take attention to this yesterday , it indeed didn't past javascript , now and I wrote it manually how I'am supposed to know if I was able to connect or not ? I was in agar , I pasted that and clicked enter , page or something basically changed but there is nothing about BTC on the page , just a normal page , is that normal ? thanks

This isnt a pay-to-enter game/tournament I would say. Since it isnt mentioned that only the donator will be able to join the game, I suspect it will be free for all tournament once the pot has 0.1 BTC on it and 10 % of it goes to the house. I doubt that anyone will be filling up those pot anyway.
With that said, anyone would be able to make their own agar.io clone, set up their own server and have a duel with another people with some pot of stakes rather relying on a third party that collect 10 % from the stake pot
