Thank you! In few words, BitFence works similar to police sting operations. We give token reward to our "miners" who run either application or hardware device (tiny RaspberryPI, etc) for being eyes and ears all around globe. Network of miners create decentralized honeypot. Hackers mistakenly think they penetrate some valuable system, but instead they hit honeypot, which collects all information about attack and reports it to server. Server processes that, sends coins to miner and reported malicious threat included in a threat feed delivered to all our subscribers, so they can block it.
