I know but sometimes knowing the credentials of the developer and his team helps. It gives predictions to the success of the project

To get followers to create more awareness for a project which in the end will attract investors. The main aim of airdrops

the airdrops achieve nothing, only people getting free stuff and achieve some fake sense of social following

I think every ICO should also have some tokens assigned for airdrops.

i think it has something to do with an established coin

In case of CoinStarter: they have a BOX for community, who can know, earn, invest new potential projects with bonus/discount/free-coins or tokens
In case of Fabric Token: they have TokenGen, as Pre-Token, which is able to use by team of projects to easier create a token with total supply, decimals, price, contract...

I think we need to read CCOS WP again to understand their solutions for their project and other projects in future.
Very informative piece. I think we should focus more on its success now. The solutions and other plans in future are subjected to change with time as their community grow - new ideas may pop up
