I don't think airdrop and bounty would be useful in such a market and so you shouldn't waste time on it. You can participate in the contest from the forum or learn how to provide real services.

I have thought so far that the airdrop scam level is greater than the bounty. Airdrop is currently less promising, in fact they often use their participants only to promote their projects without paying. Even if we get paid it will be useless because 80% of their tokens have no value in the market. I prioritize participating in the Bounty Campaign, especially the Signature Campaign because it has better opportunities than others, and by participating in the Signature Campaign we also make contributions to this forum by helping fellow members who need help. This is very different from airdrop or other campaigns that have the task of having to spam every social media even though it looks easy.

If you have the time you can do both, but there's no guaranty which between the two can give you the most profit, but I'd like to remind you of the long wait, airdrops, and bounty take two months to a year to see if the project you've worked with has potential, I've participated in so many airdrops and bounty campaign that I've forgotten the name and sometimes I'm just surprised that some coins are coming  without remembering when I promoted it, because I don't keep a list of my campaigns.

Patience is the key factor I am still waiting for rewards from the bounties I have worked in the year 2018 and some of them did not even reach the  exchange as we need to be prepared for the long wait which sometimes disappoint us when the project fails or we receive tokens when it becomes worthless. I believe it's better to offer some service and earn rather than joining bounty or airdrop atleast until the market is back on track as good projects are failing nowadays so there is no hope for bounty or airdrop during bearish market.

What gift, man? Don’t say that you don’t have the knowledge. Knowledge can be obtained by continous learning. You know what? You’re lucky enough because you have an access to the internet and you’re already one step from another human because you’re already here in the forum where you can find almost all of the answers and knowledge you need to know to earn a decent amount of cryptocurrency. Learning and patience is the key man.

But if fiat is not a problem for you, then you can just buy some crypto and learn how to handle ‘em.

Both options are not profitable any more. Due to the project either being a scam from the beginning, it turning to a scam somewhere down the road or it is not really something that needs the blockchain or a new coin to work. There are also projects promoting services where their native coin is not needed at all because it would work equally good with Bitcoin or fiat.

Unless you have certain talents and skills like content writing, graphic design, translating or finding and correcting bugs (programming/coding knowledge) you wont get far doing social media tasks. There is too much competition and it is not worth it. Just open a spreadsheet of a random bounty and check the number of participants taking part in the twitter bounty for example. You will notice 3000+ people doing the same thing. If you count the potential rewards you will discover that you can get $10 worth of a coin that might never be listed on an exchange.

Bounty will require more time while Airdrop is like registering one time and getting the small amount of coins. You can do both if you have time but do not make them your regular earning opportunity.  Most of the times, the coins which you will get from them will be worthless or of very low value, but since you got them free, you should not mind that.

I'm not sure about the gifts but I think you'll get more chances to make profit in aidrop rather than gifts since airdrop requires you certain tasks which gives value to the project itself thus you'll somehow get paid the amount of tokens you desserved. Just a pinch of advice, spend more time in looking for legitemate project rather than doing the actual tasks. Actual tasks aren't worth it if the project is more likely to be scam or just  garbage.

It is easy to join airdrops and bounties to receive tokens but you will not earn much that way since you get small amounts as a prize. Instead, you should learn how to invest and earn real money. I agree it is a long way to learn but when you do its a pure profit. Cool

Bounties and airdrops were once a profitable way to earn "free" money way back in 2017. The reason why a lot of people came in rushing to engage in crypto world. Thus, It has been taken advantage by the project scams which became rampant in mid 2018. Right in this very moment doing so is completely a waste of time and energy.

Learning to invest may not be easy, those people who have come just to have the "free" money, probably wont last in this very volatile world of crypto.

Both of them are worthless. If you came to this forum looking for "gifts" then you are looking in the wrong place. Some projects have given out airdrops previously for early users but it has it essence taken away when large groups of spammers started flocking in to grab every airdrop they could. Same happened with bounties. Now they are just promotional content for promoting every shitcoin out there which has just be conceived. But do they carry any long term value? No. In other words, collecting airdrops of bounties today is a waste of time.

Moreover many bounties would ask you to pass a KYC too. Now I never feel comfortable with sharing mu personal info to a new "startup" which has not even started up. So I tend to tell people to avoid joining bounties.

There are other methods to earn from this forum. But first you must work on your posting habits, your knowledge about bitcoin, earn a good chunk of merits from other users and then we can get started. Grin

There is no point in spending your valuable time on bounties and airdrops of project that won't succeed and the coins that you will receive eventually will be worthless.

Try to find free courses about copywriting, design, programming, Udemy sometimes offer free courses on certain topics and Pluralsight has at least had 30 days of free courses. Learning a new skill will be way more valuable than doing Airdrops.

It's easier because it offer no value at all, from my experience out of over 50 airdrops I've participated only 6 or 8 has value and it's not even the amount you've expected, the most I've got was $20 and I have to wait 5 months to get it, I almost forget that I have these airdrops I just saw it's value in my wallet glad that I've dumped all of it and move on, now I'm out of these airdrop thing.

Since airdrop is a easy task that we only get cents or lucky enough if it can buy some candies, it's fine since the market is down and it will be hard to companies to provide big airdriops when they can't even gain any amount at this moment. Before airdrops are quite a good giveaway since it's still high in value that we didn't expect since its just consider a freebie or a gift done by just registering, now due to number of scam projects and market downtrend it's not longer effective to join one that will risk our identity or nformation too knowing it is no longer have any value.

Airdrops are not giving decent profits in these days. Because airdrops are offering low amount of allocation and gettin a large number of participants. Some guys cheating airdrop campaigns with multiple accounts. The next thing is some airdrops projects are getting scam. I prefer you can go with bounties. But bounties have similar things what I mention about airdrops. You can secelt good bounties with your own research.

Hello friend. Airdrops are no longer profitable as they used to be compared to the early days. But there are still few that turn up now and then which turn out  to be quite huge. I have benefited from airdops. So if i would advice you, i'd tell you to continue doing airdrops. You never can tell which eventually become worth something.

I consider them both a waste of time now. Bounty and Airdrop's hype has now gone.

Unlesss you want to take the risks and understand that your effort might go to waste then it's your choice if you still want to participate. There are maybe a few good remains but I don't want you to end up wasting lots of time before finding a good one.

As for me, it's better to find an alternative to save time. Try to find day jobs or any source of income outside crypto then allocate some to purchase crypto especially bitcoin. Slowly but surely you can save more as your progress.

yes that's absolutely right, it doesn't have to be a bounty hunter or airdrop hunter because their heyday is long gone, but we can invest some% of our income in order to increase the USD coffers.

If you are willing to collect a substantial value of coins with Airdrops / Bounties, that's very difficult and you need to research a lot (and of course to be lucky, quite often good research is not enough)  Cheesy
The chance is very high that the failure of such campaigns will discourage people doing it (at least that's my impression).

Unfortunately, the quality of Bounties / Airdrops has decreased a lot. The downfall of ICO business is part of the problem, when I'm scrolling through the Bounty section I don't see any project where I would consider an investment. Most of them are blatant scams, some projects have (maybe) a good intention but a clueless and inexperienced dev team and the last group of them are planning a business model we have seen 100 times before. Such projects won't get anywhere... only away with investor's money  Tongue
I did a few social media bounties in 2018 but none of them was reasonably profitable.
However, I can't agree that all Airdrops are scam, IF you dig deep, the hard research might be rewarded, like the legit and profitable Airdrop from Keybase. And yes, such Airdrops don't appear every day. If I could vote for something I would vote to get more Airdrops like that in crypto space. Airdrops are very effective to distribute coins in a decentralized way and if it's not a shitcoin, most holders won't dump. The problem of Airdrop dumping is not the Airdrop, it's poor quality of the coin. Almost nobody will hodl a crap coin (they will try to sell it ASAP to get out) but many will hodl a good coin.

I'm still positive that some of the better projects launching in 2020 will start something similar. Or start a good bounty here because it would be easy for them to stand out from the crowd of shit- and scam projects. But then, the project has to offer something new - not just empty promises.

So - not all Airdrops / Bounties are bad, there are still good ones - but very hard to find.  Smiley

If you want quick money with minimal work. Go for airdrop. If you want larger reward. Then go for bounty programs. I joined a lot of airdrops before and I find it boring and cheap since you're only going to earn fixed prize of the airdrop. So I joined bounties because it's gonna give decent reward. But it's risky tho. A lot of bounties are not so sure about the success of their crowdfunding. You can't get decent reward or sometimes not get anything at all. So you have to be aware a bout the project. Thorough study of the project will give you some insights about the success of the project.

Between the two, maybe airdrops.

In an airdrop, you are only required to do a/some task/s one time, then wait for distribution.
In a bounty, you are asked to do tasks that would run for weeks, months, or even a year.

In case the project pulls something at the end of the campaign (prior to token distribution) like KYC, airdrop hunters wouldn't feel that bad if they do not want to comply. Legit bounty hunters who does not want to comply with the new requirements on the other hand would feel more cheated since they promoted the project for a longer time

99% of airdrop is worthless and even if they might worth something, you'll need to wait years probably. Get an online job, learn to code or start a Youtube/blogging channel and buy some bitcoins with your money. That's better than participating in countless airdrops.
I am pretty sure that what he meant was bounty. Well, with the level that you have, you obviously can't follow the signature campaign, but you can provide support from social media, I'm pretty sure it doesn't need creativity so much. besides, if you have a talent for writing, you can take part in bounty content creation, and you can even make videos about a project.

it takes hard work to achieve it all. Well, nothing is easy in achieving what you want to do.

First of all, let's go straight by mentioning about value of tokens you will receive from bounties/ airdrops. In my opinion, and I could be wrong, such tokens are worthless. Maybe someone argues that if people are lucky enough to join one bounty/ airdrop that pays in a token which will have price rocket weeks after company pays for all eligible participants. They, participants, will get a kind of 'fortune'. I want to emphasize that such lucky chances are very low.

Secondly, joining bounties/ airdrops will take lots of your time as well as inestimable risks of not being paid by companies. Participants might do have to join and keep wearing signature for months, then companies announce their ICOs, IEOs, whatever kind of funding-raising methods they used, end with failures. Then they reject to pay any bucks for participants.

Generally, I totally agree that spending time on bounties, airdrops are unnecessary and time-wasting.

I think you have to be creative / productive in creating something whether it's art, video, vlogs etc., maybe at the bounty you can get usd for free by following a campaign and there are tasks to do.
for the airdrop, in my opinion is also useful, as long as you can choose a good airdrop, because many airdrops are useless now.

Neither. The only thing that's going to be worth doing is signature campaigns in my opinion. It's the one that mostly pays decently, and is pretty much almost the closest thing to "free money", assuming you're going to read and post on Bitcointalk in the first place.

Airdrops and most bounty campaigns though? I personally think they're a waste of time. I'd rather do gigs online instead.

No need for high knowledge, just creativity.

i think creativity is more than valuable from high knowledge. because knowledge is above the name, you can learn, read, study what you want to learn or expertice but the creativity is a gift from GOD. i can never draw something on paper or any graphic interface. maybe it should be learn some drawing technic by education but anyway its in your inside power.
btw, i never see similar activity on this forum. its a special event for 10th anniversary.
the other point, airdrops are worthless in these times. there is also another methods for earning similar as bounty programs for content writers, bug bounty programs for coders, translation bounties etc.

I would choose airdrop over the bounty. But good projects are very rare who is doing airdrop. last few years I joined airdrop for just 2 projects Dfinity & Polymath. You can work on bounties too. First research a good project with good potential in the market. then join their Signature & Translation campaign Also joining the telegram campaign is easy as well.

Though I personally think Bounty & airdrop both are a waste of time. The best way to earn bitcoin is by providing services. First, think about what you're good at, then come up with an idea then provide services & take payment in crypto.

Most airdrops are worthless, they are nothing. You can join bounties but don't expect high like receiving easy big money in short time cause its not gonna work like that. Just choose to support those projects which are legit and has potential to grow and develop. Well, if you think you have online skill/s you can offer your service though.

I think most of Airdrop is now cheating but not all but only a few are paying for Airdrop.

To join the bounty campaign there are several tasks that must be done

Signature
Social media
Blogging
Youtuber
Telegram
Translator

Now that you choose one of your skills that you can work on and do, don't forget before following the bounty, read the rules first because each bounty has different rules.

Study and invest instead. Stop wasting time in Airdrops/Bounties. It ain't the past anymore where you could earn a 100$ for sharing a tweet or something. You gotta invest time and actually think about what you want to do and progress there slowly. Plus, if you're talking about the art contest theymos has on going, It doesn't really need you to know much. Just make something using the theme of the forum itself or bitcoin itself and your fine to go. But after that, I'd advise to buckle up and start studying.
