Scammers always choose Telegram for this kind of scam.
That's one of a few reasons why I don't use that service or any like it--and I already had an impersonator a few months back which prompted me to include the warning that I don't use telegram in my profile.  Any social media or messaging site/app is going to be full of scammers, guaranteed.  Even this forum is.

Isn't this one of the main drawbacks of using a wallet like Metamask?  If I'm not mistaken, it requires an account and I used to hear all kinds of stories about problems with it back when I used to visit the altcoin sections.  I don't use it, so I'm not sure if it's more prone to attack by hackers than something like a software wallet.  But in any case, I'd say if you're seeing an advertisement on telegram for anything crypto-related, 99% of the time it's going to be a scam in one form or another.  Take the advice of other members and just report that crap and move on.

This ia good reminder for those people who join amy airdrops around but can you atleast put the sample link of the airdrop what you want say so that people will get aware on those links and avoid it. Since posting like this can make the people aware but for sure they will forget about this warning if they see that many people are participating on that scam airdrop tactics.
I wanted to do that but after I received the message and link on Telegram, after I notice it was a scam and I was blasting the person that send the link he later deleted our chat so I couldn't copy the link. And very sorry but immediate I come across something like that again I will edit my post and add the link there.

Your post is a good tutorial but there should be at least one scam site in your thread so we'll know how it looks like you don't have to post the link you can post the name of the site, so all of us here will have a general idea of the site so we can avoid a similar site when we encounter one.
This thread should be in the beginners and help rather than here in the scam section.

Scammers always want to use human greed to achieve their goals and in most cases they succeed. Because you will find a lot of people who want to earn huge free. Hopefully after seeing this warning you will prevent those crypto users from falling victim to such scams, and they will warn themselves more about other scams.

If you find more scams like this, be sure to share them in the community to create more awareness in the community about fake airdrop.

Are you receiving this kind of message on Telegram? Simply just remove and report spam. Please add the project link who wants to scam as well in a code. So we might know who is the scammer right now and it would reflect on search as well. This type of scam isn't new though we need to make more awareness. Scammers always choose Telegram for this kind of scam. Just don't be greedy and don't hand over your funds to the scammers.

I believe we all need to be very cautious right now because scammers are after us and they are just looking for new ways and strategies to scam people. I believe we have all heard about various scams that are currently taking place in cryptocurrency market to which I believe anyone can fall victim, so we all need to be cautious, especially newbies who don't really understand how things are going in Cryptocurrency.
At the moment, I noticed another scam strategy.
You will receive a link to paste on your trust wallet 'DAPP' or your meta mask to claim an airdrop with your wallet address, you do not have to do that they are scammers trying to wipe your wallet address as soon as you copy and paste it, they will automatically have access to all the funds in your wallet and all the coins in your wallet will be wiped, so we all have to be cautious.
For example:

Seriously, I believe we should all be cautious about the links we open because some of them are designed solely to defraud you and not to assist you. If you are new to cryptocurrency, I recommend that you take the time to learn about it so that you are not duped by scammers. You should also be aware that cryptocurrency is not a system where you can send money to someone and have it doubled for you, nor should you trust anyone with your private key, as there are numerous scams. If you are asked to participate in an airdrop and have been sent a link, you must conduct your own research before clicking or participating in the airdrop. I believe if you want to be participating in airdrop you can just get a new wallet address which is empty and you can be using it for airdrop
