Personally I would not mind paying for a tool like this if it is good. I would suggest a one time fee per version, rather than a monthly subscription. When it gets updated to a new version, you must pay upgrade fee for the new version. My reason is that I often get busy and can't trade/research for a while, so monthly subs seem like a waste of money sometimes.
Of course free/donation is unbeatable but a paid version might make it easier to fund development.
Can't wait to check this out when I get a chance
Well, I might move toward paid plans when functionality of the service get more complicated and I will consider making options like this. Hope you'll like it.
Exactly what I was looking for

I just tried it, but I really prefer using an android app, so I look forward into it as I've seen that it's in your to-do list. Why not put an option of email/SMS notification in to add to Watchlist page as well? I mean as a user, if I wanted an alarm and email/SMS notifications at the same time, it would be easier if there's a checkbox option like (enable SMS notification, enable email notification) in to add to Watchlist page rather than a separate input for that same pair in notification page. Then the record will be available in both Watchlist and notifications page. If a user doesn't want to add a pair in the Watchlist and just want an email notif, then he will input it directly in the notification page.
Just a suggestion.
Yes, Android app is on todo but I'm not planning to make it any time soon... Currently I am going to spend all my available time and efforts on expanding functionality which is the highest priority. When it's done I can move onto less-prioritized tasks.
The point is that you need to keep the watchlist page opened in order to get notified. Watchlist is supposed to be used by altcoin traders who need to track a lot of markets during a trading session.
Current alerts implementation is per asset (which means that price trigger is based on price of a certain asset/coin) but it's possible to implement separate triggers for per market/trading pair alerts if you need to get email/sms notifications with military precision and without the need of keeping the page opened.
