Starting at March 15th, 2018 (03.15.2018) Alcurex exchange ownership transfers to Cfinex Ltd.

Your user account will be transfered to the new store at https://cfinex.com where trading continues normally after the transfer.
After the transfer of ownership, the new trading site will list all of the current active markets.
Coins that have no activity or have severe technical problems, will not be included in the transfer and will stay active at the
Alcurex.com trading site, where they should be withdrawn before April 15th, 2018.
Delisted coins withdraw from Alcurex.com will be opened soon.
Delisted coins withdraw from Alcurex.com is now opened.
Please note, withdraws may take time if coin have wallet issues.

I have checked it a month ago and it looks ugly and that means it could be unsafe. There are many coins listed but the trades are not active and coins are always on low volume. There are many alternatives around so I think it's better that you skip this one.

According to what I have been reading, it seems unreliable and risky at the moment. The website has a 90's look and according to what I read they are not licensed by the international Financial Services Commission or any other competent authority in Belize to be engaged in exchange of online cryptocurrency. Though from there are you looking to invest in them? or trade?

Yes, Novaexchange is changing management next year so its really good to really moved your coins somewhere else. However, I never heard of alcurex.com before. And here if you are not familiar and never heard of the trading exchanges, they are already put into suspect. If I'm were you, I would go somewhere or someone that is trusted. Because its looks like alcurex hasn't been gain enough traction in our community. I don't know if they have been in the market long enough, but I suspect that they aren't. So just be careful.

If you are not familiar with it and it's not popular,dont use it
There still many good exchanger like polo and bittrex,you dont want your money to disappear
