Nowadays, with the increase in the number of scammers, their fraud methods have also improved.  Currently, hackers are using Advance Phishing to complete their activities. Through this Advance Phishing, all access to your device can be hacked before you know it.  In this, the access to the wallet account on your device will be hacked.

Ways to protect yourself from hacking:
1. Hackers basically hack all the victim's information with tempting offers. Many times hackers can send you phishing site links through mail and give tempting offers.  Alluring offers are like this, if you click on this link, you will get a huge gift, or you will win a prize.
So don't be greedy for any offer.
2. Many times hackers will directly send phishing site messages that look exactly like the official site of your device. If you click on the official site, you will get hacked. So everyone be careful.

However, if you look at advance phishing sites, you will not understand that it is actually a phishing site.

Recently Arkham make a tweet about Pishing sites because they do a Airdrop to early users who join whitelist and their token is also listing on Binance Exchange in future.
With the so many phishing sites opened because of this project, it won't be wrong to conclude that it's a great project. So many scammers want to lash in on its utility and public demand for it to hoodwink investors. It's good that someone is vigilant enough to have pointed all that phishers (and many more) out. This is the simple reason people should ask for official links from those recommending projects to them and not just go to search engines to get them but themselves.
When a project comes to the Binance launchpad, there is already a lot of hype in the market about that project, and scammers use this hype every time to come up with fake/phishing websites to fool and scam crypto investors. So they didn't create a fake/phishing website because it is a solid project, they are actually trying to take advantage of the hype of binance launchpad. Because we have seen such activities in the past, scammers using the name of Binance launchpad tried to scam people.

https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/introducing-the-arkham-arkm-token-sale-on-binance-launchpad-6ad1921b56fb4b369f9cf3e4449e62e2

Truly projects with with big partnership  always attract scammers. I could remember vividly clear when the sui project launched, i began to  receive lots of tag via my social media handle and mails as well congratulating me and also encouraging me to claim my sui coin with a link they had prepared to hack my details via me clicking the link. I had to delete them all because i was very sure such could not happen at the instance as sui is already a well known project and as such, scammers would want to use it as a bait to get at unsuspecting individuals. Projects on binance launchpad are very big and therefore the possibility of scammers using it to scam people is very high.

Wow, Scammers are everywhere and they will try best to scam people. These scammers usually choosing a project which has some rumors of airdrop. many twitter accounts and discord channels has been hacked and scam phising sites shared there and unfortunately many people connected their wallet and lost their fund. When will these greedy people learn lesson. It is better to connect secondary wallet having no fund to check first and these big sites should be bookmark and use only bookmark sites.

Arkham is most trended project now which offer airdrop to their early participants and hackers created so many scam sites. One of my friend lost 500$ which is bigger than airdrop (197$).

These phishing scammers will never be gone. Whenever there's a new project that's getting the attention of the crowd, they're also going to ride it and will try to phish some victims
They are always on the run to scam each time their new idea to phish comes in, the more their old techniques they use gets bursted then they try to introduce another new means just to ensure they always attack whenever they finds any slight chances for doing such on users.
That's right, they keep on making conventional method just to phish and scam people and that's why I've said that they'll never be gone. And for us, we always need to be vigilant and updated with these tricks.

I just became aware of this project when I see people in some groups talking about it. And it didn't took a long time until these phishing links has come.

You're being observant in studying to know what exactly is going on and how scammers get new means to phish on users, those that never see this coming partook of the scene and get affected in a big way, if you're not informed it's not safe and no knowledge acquired is a waste at any point in time.
Yup, and that's the reason we need to always get at least be informed of what is happening in the market and even with these projects despite we're not into it.

They will always look for projects that are of interest to many people, and they try to create phishing sites instead of them providing airdrops or even fake sales made by themselves, I see in the channel group there are those who distribute Arkham tokens already traded on DEX exchanges, in view of its history there are no sales but people buy continuously this like a bot or some kind of honyepot token.
Just count on it that whenever there are new projects, they're also there in a quick glance.

No wonder when many communities are talking about in groups or social media, scammers will act to create clone sites to trap communities who are careless.
And the sad truth, there will always a few people that have been victimized by these phishers and scammers. Being negligent of these tactics will teach those victims a lesson, although we're sad that money have already been lost on them and taken from them.

Must be able to distinguish which is the original which is an imitation, now must be more observant again see their domain site sometimes they make some changes to the text to resemble his.
That's what everyone needs to do, be observant and always verify the authenticity of everything related to the project that you're interested to get involved.

This is the most popular method of scammers creating phishing sites to link your wallet and steal your funds, if you're an investor or someone who's into airdrops or doing trading, bookmark the right websites, use an extension to ward off phishing sites and always be particular on the domain names scammers are good doing at cloning the sites and they confuse you with their domain names that look like the real one with additional characters or changing the small letter to capital letters.

Truly scammers are everywhere cloning websites making it look real and making people fall victim of their gimmicks thinking it is the genuine and real. Mostly newbies with little or no knowledge are the unsuspecting prey they would feast on whenever ever they fall fir their scam.
I think what you have said is a good recommendation that should be followed so as to avoid such from happening.  People should mostly look out for characters of letters when engaging online so as not to be confused from spotting the fave from the original.

For instance, there was a time I wanted to access my Coinmarketcap and type it I quickly clicked it without looking very well to know if actually is the original site, where I came to realized is when the site asked me to put my phrase keys to access the cmc, I was like I've never experienced this the used of cmc
Not only Coinmarketcap but in all channels, don't quickly click on any link.

I haven't heard of a scam link associated with CMC but generally why not make it easier for users, make the URL simple, easy to remember and creative like https://cryptowat.ch/ here the user will remember the domain name and sub-extension.
I have never known about any report on phishing links through Coinmarketcap. Years ago, it is only a marketcap website with links to projects' websites, social media, etc.

They only upgraded their platform like a CoinMarketcap social community after Binance acquired it. I can not recall in my memory that since when they have a Coinmarketcap community and people who have registered accounts can comments directly on Cointmarketcap.

Maybe 2 years ago but that article [Tutorial] How to use Coinmarketcap community? was published 11 months ago.

Such comments are paradises for scammers to spread phishing links. I am unsure how Coinmarketcap filter phishing links in their community.

why are they requesting for me to put my keys for me to able to access platform. What I did was to carefully check the url I noticed it was fake and scam site one who just wanted to steal my fund, like you said it may not be that too long for people remember but google may easily pop it up for people to mistakenly click it.
I hope that their new A.I. service will enhance the quality of results and reduce phishing links, but the situation is bad, especially the ads that appear before the search results. In addition to competition from Bing and Microsoft will make Google less greedy and more careful.

Who will remember for you a link with the name arkhamintelligence.com? URL links were invented because of the difficulty of remembering IP addresses, but your choice of a long and difficult-to-remember domain will force the user to bookmark or save the link instead of remembering it, which is a bad impression and helps the link links. It's easier for them to choose short links like arkint.com than to type the full name.

I think is mostly common to those who often uses google search to enter any site that popup, sometimes searching a site on google without knowing the real site may definitely make them fall into victim. For instance, there was a time I wanted to access my Coinmarketcap and type it I quickly clicked it without looking very well to know if actually is the original site, where I came to realized is when the site asked me to put my phrase keys to access the cmc, I was like I've never experienced this the used of cmc why are they requesting for me to put my keys for me to able to access platform. Maybe back then this is enough, but now, increased vigilance would be a big help because scammers are getting more trickier than ever, there was a report here in this board about a phishing website that's almost identical to the real website, the only tell tale sign that it wasn't a legitimate website is because it's domain name is real suspicious.

You know, more and more people are reporting scams with the same MO and hopefully this is a good indicator that people are becoming more watchful about the links that they click on and not believing all the airdrops out there because legitimate groups doing airdrops can still be infiltrated by hackers.

Airdrop claimers are the main target of these scammers because they usually don't much care about their security and sites. They rush to perform tasks or to connect wallet and claim their Airdrops without a basic research.
Another target of these scammers is the community members of a project to scam rapidly. And it works too because many of the community members don't care about it but after being scammed they even don't know how that happened. So much awareness is needed specially for the Beginners.

Anyway it would be better if you add these phishing sites to this thread POST ALL PHISING SITES HERE (2023)

when there is a project that launches an airdrop program and is popular enough to get enthusiasm from the media. it looks like it will be a way for scammers to get their hands on their new victims.
for those who are experienced, maybe they won't be wrong or fooled by web domains made by scammers. but for those who are new and trying to search on search engines or through scammers' comments on social media or links on telegram. this is quite inconvenient for a beginner.

we will see how classic scammers like this always exist in the future.

It is nice you did expose the nefarious act of this so called platform. Everyday scammers come up with many tactics and improved methods to scam people of their hard earned resources, creating a replica of the original to carrying out the wicked act.

Mostly newbies are prone to this scam as they know not and can not differentiate the fake from the original which is why all the phishing sites must be exposed. You have done well OP. Atleast members here can now see for themselves and know this website is not the genuine website they think it is.

I know that everyday number of scammers are increasing day by day and they try to launch any Pishing site which is almost similar to original site and these scammers can steal their funds from Airdrop hunters. Sometime these scammers can hacked official accounts like Twitter and discord of highly hype project that are about to any Airdrop and launch their token.

Recently Arkham make a tweet about Pishing sites because they do a Airdrop to early users who join whitelist and their token is also listing on Binance Exchange in future. So please beware about these Pishing sites and do not click any site before clarify that this is real or not also do not become greedy for some money specially newbies stay aware about this site's.
