Uh, you got what you paid for didn't you?  You wanted %30 more then what your money was worth and you got it,  just prepare for the 1k euro card to be stolen or carded. Sad

Chemist a Pharmacist and a Goon walk into a park...

So they gave you the card but they showed intent of violence because?
This is the part I do not understand,if I was a goon I would have not given you the card.

I have no strong beliefs about this one way or the other, but I should point out this would not be the first time people have been strong armed out of their money over Bitcoins. Nerds make easy targets. Also even if they did give him a card of equal value, there is nothing saying it isn't stolen, fraudulently obtained, or money laundering. This would be an easy way for local 2bit thugs to force people to launder their cash for them. That being said, anything to substantiate your claims would be helpful.
I don't have a strong opinion Either. This is definitely a believable story and what OP describes may have actually happen. You really have to be careful who your dealing with, especially on sites like Localbitcoin.com
It's plausible, yes, and I'm definitely not calling OP a liar.  But if this is true then proof is needed so he can be tagged.  Know what I mean here?  Someone on DT ought to do this if these allegations are true.

Edit:  to the post below, I am not a friendly chemist and I am not FriendlyChemist.  Just FYI.

I am complaining because I did not wanted to trade but they still called me up , I have a college tour this weekend now all my money is gone.
Another reason is that if I had cancelled the trade they would still rip me off money.
I am graced that I did not have my home address else my parents would be ashamed of me.
I do have backs and even I can fight back to such goons , I am happy that none of my relatives say them misbehaving else every one would laugh at my decency.
I am decent doesnot mean that I can't fight.

So you  didn't want to trade but you still took your money and went to the park to meet them? And why are you saying that your money is gone if you have the 1000 EUR card?

Lol, proof?  Anything?

I have card , which they gave me.

I know you guys feel that I am lying but I let you know in advance that if I had not paid them then they would had snached all my money and ran away.
I have seen a guy from then in daily news and he was charged for red activity.

Oh I have no problem believing the story. I think you might have set your expectations wrong when going into this transaction. You were buying what is essentially cash at a 30% discount. Who did you expect to meet? How do you think those gentlemen obtained their wares? By being nice? And of course they were fully expecting you to pay up. You got your card, you didn't get beaten, you got an adrenaline boost I guess, so your complaint is basically - what?

Good call not meeting them at home though. You wouldn't want your parents think they're your friends Smiley

Well shit then, post up the photos of the news article and the card then, you should be all set. BTW, charged for red activity? did he mark someone's Trust all red? What's his profile link anyhow? Tongue

What happened
I Saw friendlychemist advertisement for sale of vanilla cards and clearly mentioned that if you live in Europe then he can supply it to you directly by local people. I live in central europe (Prague)

so i sent him pm on 7th march asking about the price and how can he arrange a local deal for me.
I am interested in buying Vanilla cards , can you give me information about rates.
Waiting for reply.

he countered asked me for my number and details and we had a convo over phone.
after a week or better to say yesterday , 5 men called me on the same number and asked me to give address so that they can come to me , but i hesitated to give my address as i have people like parents in house , so we fixed the meeting over community park , i went there and what i see is that they are not local people but are goons , they are all equipped with knives and cutting stuffs and talking like shit and abusing in conversation , they told me to pay 18400 CZK and as i was alone i had to pay them , and they laughed at me and threw a card of 1000 euro on my face and said abusive words.

I warn all guys not to give your real information to this guy as his deal might cost your life.

If I'm reading this right you got a fair deal (18400 CZK to 1000 EUR) but were not happy with the level of customer service?
