People talk their book. With a recent run up in price, many sold, and they are looking to buy back lower. That's all.

Exactly, along with the perception that the tone of a thread here can greatly influence the market.

When I bought in I always took the view that it was a binary bet. I looked at bitcoin in 5 years as either being worth $10,000+ or $0. That said, I am a believer in its usefulness and am going to hang on for the next several years. In my opinion you need to take a view, put your money behind it and then wait it out. There’s nothing to be gained by trying to time the market imho.

How did you looked at bitcoin for 5 years?
You satoshi?

5 years into the future, from when he bought.

The more their worth, the more they will get hacked. As today's price lures many to buy and to steal. Just imagine those that lost thousands on Inputs (now what). Soon the wallets will be hacked daily and this is going to drive people away. Plus the fact that price fixing is happening now, different places, different prices... It may be worth it to someone that bought in early. But as I stated before, no one is going to buy one with all this trouble. Maybe parts, or even risk money they already made.

The security of your investment is entirely upto you, if you leave it in vulnerable places someone might take it from you. Same as if you leave the money under your mattress.  I dont think "hacking" is going to worry anyone at this point.

Im tired of it, there is alot of useful information on this site.  As a matter of fact is it an impeccable resource.  But thats all i hear in almost every post, crash, its going to crash, 300's here we come.  I bought bitcoins as a newb back in February and sold at $166....doh.  Ive bought back in as more of a believer now instead of...i dunno a "day trader".  It seems like the true believers are sitting back relaxing counting there money and the rest are all "CRASH!"

Stay away from the speculation forum , which btw , is going "to the moon" right now:)
