Yesterday, I needed to transfer some small amount of funds (100$) from one exchange to another and decided to use eth transaction at first, I've always used eth before. But then I realized that 0.01 eth fee is now 10$, so I would lose more than in simple Visa or Master Card transaction, also I would also have to wait for at least 30 minutes to get my transaction confirmed, and it's in case if network is not too much loaded. 6 mounts ago could do the same and lose much less.
So, I wanna say, will any coin that gains popularity and price increase will meet the same problems with high fees and slow transactions? Are there any decentralized cryptocurrencies that already solved this problem?
