Man, the huge emotional decision that I have made was a couple of Sundays ago. That fall was huge, and I honestly lose faith to BTC because of these greedy bastards manipulating the weak. Anyway, I have this strong feeling that it will never be too late for those who sold to buy back again. Looking towards the $10000 mark by the end of year.
My little fingers tells me we'll need to get used to these big spikes again and again, at every fork (and non fork). It is not too good for Bitcoin's image, and I hope it will not damage it too much.
What happened last two weeks was indeed worrying but I am personally proud of myself for letting it go, I stopped checking at the price for 5 straight days and was delighted when it was above 6500 again.
Bitcoin Cash is still right now the biggest threat and I hope the community behind Bitcoin will do its best not to let people down.
I am optimistic though  Smiley

I still considered myself as a newbie when it comes to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general since I started to get involved with this whole thing maybe around one and a half years ago. Right now, there are still so many technical jargon that I find challenging to grasp with (though am trying believe me!) as my education continues here in this forum and elsewhere.

I find the whole Bitcoin ride akin to a roller-coaster with its ups and downs. One of the most important facet of Bitcoin I realized is that it is not a tool to change a part of the human nature as we are still bringing in our greed and weaknesses into the table...as evidenced by all the dynamism involved in the bigger cryptocurrency market.

All the excitement and glamour in Bitcoin is embedded in its dramatic twists and turns...and this is something we have to live up for as long as we are part and parcel of this industry.

Hopefully, in 2018 we can be witnessing more of this drama right before our gadget screens...!

Just this year alone, so much drama and its like watching a soap opera. Better get your popcorn ready. If I can remember a few twist and drama.

1] The whole expectation that SEC will approved the Winklevoss twins application for a ETF. Price shoots up, however, SEC denied it causing the price to go down to $900 and FUD waves comes along saying bitcoin is dead.

2] Japan then entered the pictured pushing the price to the next level.

3] ETH surges again. Then their is the talks of flippening. Didn't happened. LOL

4] The whole scaling debate that is still ongoing today. Segwit is activated in August. Then the rest is history.

5] China and the Jamie Dimon saga. Pulling the market to a crash.

6] Bitcoin Cash attacks bitcoin and try to brought the market to a near crash. They failed. Bitcoin wins.

So with that said and with all the happening and event this year, it was truly a roller coaster ride, a lot of ups and downs and then the subsequent recovery to even greater heights. So its really like a soap opera.  Grin

We can overcome them all if we're united against the real enemy, tyrants of our era, owners and share holders of all the giant companies, central banks.
With Chinese investors, they are always waiting for the masters to see if they are going to accept crypto or not. if today they spread some news about banning of mining in China, price will start to go down, every time Bitcoin is moving up, China has something to feed their people.

I hope so, though so many twists in the world of cryptocurrency, but still a pride to be able to follow various events or whatever it is related about Bitcoin, hopefully we can still enjoy how wonderful Bitcoin we always follow the story. Whatever it is I am including lucky people who can get to know Bitcoin.

The twist and turn of bitcoiner's life. We will still have to witness the drama series of bitcoin forking, the different opinion of scalability problem and the politics in our bitcoin community that we have to endure. I think 2018 is more challenging and more critics of bitcoin will show up.

I feel you. This is the beginning of a major industry that is going to change the face of our world and how our species handles money. It is huge and there are bound to be more twists, turns and drama ahead. Just keep your head on straight and see though the bullcrap and you will be good. Wink

Hi CyptoBry,
Yes it is an emotional ride, last two weeks have proved that again.
Most important is to keep reason, all the time, use your brain and not your emotions if you decide to trade Bitcoin, and Altcoins, especially Bitcoin Cash lately.
Exciting times, no doubt!
