Interesting to see all of this....I know that someone from there reached out a few weeks ago in regards to reordering some Crypto Greeting Cards, but then I never heard back. With these complaints, I will need to re-evaluate if CG should allow them to be a wholesale customer.

My overall experience was not great.
Having bought a bunch of stuff in the sale, I still ended up paying waaay over the odds for all items ordered. Compounded by the customs charges I received as many of the items were sent individually.
Turns out, if I had bought all the goods direct from the makers I would have saved my self $100's.

Items were dispatched directly from makers, or allthingsdecentral just sent them individually ? Site acts as items listing & payment handling, without having any inventory?

It depends on the item.  When I first started selling my Bitcoin Binary Rounds through the site, I would get all orders and send them out individually (with the retailer getting a %, so of course it is cheaper to buy direct from makers unless they are offering bulk discounts to the retailer).  When it became clear that the items were selling a lot and communications/transfers were getting out of hand, they started placing large orders to hold an inventory and send items directly to buyers from their warehouse.

While they probably should do a better job of alerting customers if their items are being sent from a 3rd party, I'm not sure if allthingsdecentral is directly responsible for any missing or delayed shipments.  It is more likely that their suppliers/makers are slacking.  They do A LOT of business, so I can say with near certainty it isn't a case of someone setting up a scam website.  More likely, it's that they are overwhelmed with orders and having problems communicating with their 3rd party suppliers/makers.

It's 100% on allthingsdecentral.com  It's a business (they get paid) and if you can't properly communicate with your paying customers in a timely fashion then you're a piss poor company and deserve to fail.  They are clearly screwing people over as multiple people have shared.  I will never do business with them again.

I don't disagree with your feelings.  I only wanted to clarify your complaint a bit with the likely scenario from my experience.  Being angry with their communication or ability to verify shipments of 3rd party items is definitely a legitimate complaint.  My wording shouldn't have been that they aren't responsible.  I didn't mean they wouldn't be financially responsible, I meant that they were likely not the direct cause for the items not being shipped and it was probably the failure of one of their 3rd party sellers.

I gotcha. I definitely took that part from it too and agree with the above.  I understand communication and stock issues when you're a 3rd party vendor but you've got to be diligent about notify customers and setting expectations and making sure all items add up to your final checkout price. I don't care to wait at all personally if you're out of stock or whatever.  A couple people here use them to sell their items and that's fantastic.  I want to support them..but they unfortunately can't be trusted.

With a reputation for messing with customers, people should just go somewhere else! Is there no good alternative?

Being vague and holding onto peoples cryptos, not refunding what was paid in full.....ummm, I call that criminal activity. Funny they only pull that shit on their customers
who pay in digital currency. Should call it Allthingscriminallycentral.com

Surprisingly this is why I haven't been paying for goods in BTC recently.  It seems the word is out among some vendors and in their TOS (NO BTC REFUNDS) they explicitly state they don't handle crypto transactions the same as other payment methods.  I've had a couple bad experiences with vendors after the "BOOM" and am forced to pay with a Card/PayPal to guarantee my transactions safety.

I simply don't trust some vendor(s) anymore to treat the orders with the same level of respect as the older payment methods.

Thanks for the heads up as I'm pretty sure I've visited the site but haven't purchased anything.

This thread may need to be moved to Service Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=85.0) or Trading Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0).

I will post this there too.  I think its important to have it up in both places.

I had the same bad experience with AllThingsDecentral as the OP. Some items were received but others not. I had only one item which didn't arrive in my package, and requested a refund but haven't received response from them yet.  Sad

It is order #10449. Below you can see proof that the "B"Pin item has not been shipped yet.  The purchase was made on November 14, 2017.

2 weeks days ago, I placed my first order with them. Still waiting for item to arrive (hopefully it will arrive, but who knows…)

I was very surprised, because 1 hour after placing the order, I received an email stating that “your order is on the way to you”. I placed the order during a weekend ( I live in Europe hence I am not sure about their local time, but still…)

Since I was suspicious, I contacted them asking for clarification (if it was an automated message, or my order was actually dispatched). Furthermore, I wanted to place another order, but the automatically calculated shipping fees was probably miscalculated.

I exchanged 2-3 emails with customer support. Although my questions were very specific, their answers were very vague & general. (i.e. if you have received the dispatched notification, then your order probably have been shipped. We cannot have access and manually change the shipping fees etc…)

Always they took around 3 days to reply to me. Then suddenly, 1 week ago they just stopped responding to my emails.

I received the majority of my order however there was much confusion on several items that were never shipped.

In the FAQ on their site is stated that “no central office or HQ. Our employees are located all over the world. We ship many products from the United States, however our vendors are also global and ship from many different locations”.

When you received your items, did all of them came in one package from “allthingsdecentral”, or received them in different batches directly from vendors?
Although I asked support if they do the handling & shipping, or just pass the order to the vendors (and vendors do dispatch), I never received an answer.

TL;DR: $65 order (paid in crypto), might (or might not) got dispatched, stopped responding to my emails. International shipping -no tracking number provided, and now those news about allthingsdecentral  Sad

Just to say, I bought from them but made sure to pay in crappy FIAT dollars and used credit card.

No issues, but then again there could have been had I paid in crypto.

Wish you luck TY!

If they are thieves they will never get a penny from me again!

They have been online almost two years. Looks like many items are out of stock. Never bought from them but based on this thread I would use PayPal. Hate to use it instead of bitcoin but right now seems like that is the safe choice. Hope that changes.

I messed up paying with crypto. Their website is garbage as well as the “confirmation page” & receipt upon arrival are pure trash. It’s all set up to make it harder to fight them on poor service.  I’d say it’s smart to stay away all together.  They did/do have some great deals I must admit  Undecided

I shopped there too, Paid $250.00 in Bitcoins for a Bitcoin Magazine  1st Edition...never came. I had to fight with them. When I paid Btc was $7,000...it was at $18,000 when I comtacted them...took me about 5 weeks to get a refund, so they refunded me $250 in bitcoins & were $65 dollars short on that to boot. I believe they HOLD crypto, and refind whatever they want. DO NOT PAY IN CRYPTO. Use a credit card.

I wanted to quickly share an experience with a cryptocurrency shop that sells collectibles. I found this shop some time ago and recently just purchased a few items. I received the majority of my order however there was much confusion on several items that were never shipped. I informed them and received one email back denying they had any items for a certain price and that they knew they had certain items missing from my order (which they failed to notify me on the receipt or anywhere else in my package or via email at anytime) and would be shipping them out shortly.

3 weeks and no response yet (nor any items received). I’ve emailed multiple times and even reached out on Instagram to their page.

I’ve shared this site and I know some members here have had no issues but felt this write up necessary of me.
