I believe XC's service charge is the same as its transaction fee, .00001 or .0001 for transaction fee + same again for mixing fee?  As XC is proof of stake, the charge is on the person using the anon service, and not taken from the miner.  Who knows which is a better system at this time.

Hello,
I need to catch up with news in alt scene. Some time ago I read about coins that aimed to reward full node for running.

Is there anything already? If so how many coins you can claim?

Darkcoin is implementing node payments, but not any node. It pays 20% of block reward for each "masternode", which is a node through which anonymous transactions are laundered.

Thus a "proof-of-service" model is rising out of this, with expansion potential in terms of services provided over the network.

This is how block generation appears (this was with 10% block reward in May... block 5, where 4.5 goes to miner and 0.5 goes to masternode)

Currently payments are down for debugging, they should resume at 20% later this month.

I think another coin NTR neutrinocoin works over TOR as well.. im not familiar with Tor so i cant say much about any anon benefits vs coin mixing, or ring signatures (bytecoin and clones)
*edit* interesting article though... proof of bandwidth was in another form used in NAS network assest storage? coin i think it was a NXT style coin, forging rewards for allowing the daemon some of your resources

some of the anon coins are working on paying fees towards nodes which set aside coins in their wallet for mixing.
POS coins provide interest when you hold coins in a wallet for a set minimum length of time then run the wallet.
some of the NXT style coins reward you for "forging" or passing data as i understand it.

Thx for response. I also found interesting article on coindesk about TorCoin couple hours after I wrote original message.
