This time bull season will stay longer than ever before the bear market arrives so instead of worrying yourself about when make your you enjoy the moment and keep taking profits, I believe the best time to invest in crypto is bear market so be prepared for that and buy coins at cheaper rate for the future

GBTC is from grayscale. although it's BTC, you don't really own it yourself. you know for the fact that you don't have the privatekey for owning such coin. Mikey Saylor knew that himself.

altcoin season all year round may not really be true if you look at the altcoins from the prices they have from the start of the year. the price difference won't tell you whether there is a bullrun or not.

I am wondering about this question a lot and may start another thread on it if this thread does not last.

I"m seeing indications of the US stock market declining - let's say for discussion 15% from today.

Here's my concern  people who are investing in crypto invest in stocks.   And those same people use leverage and margin in stocks and crypto  If the stock market declines and those people get stock margin calls does the crypto market decline because they sell?

My fear is a very large decline larger then the recent Bitcoin decline from $64K to $40K (I forgot the number, if not correct).

Don't buy GBTC. Buy BTC. You have GBTC, you don't own BTC. Buy BTC, own and keep it. You yourself own your private keys. That is the only way to have BTC.

Altcoins are increasing in value because money is flowing inward to cryptocurrency. Many investors are probably focused on cryptocurrency in general so the greens are everywhere. But don't expect the green to be there all year round. In fact, right now the candles are all red.

Agree on GBTC.  I wouldn't recommend it.  I only mention it because it is the only one US citizens can buy that I know about.

I have always taken my personal opinion on this market, as there is more interest in it and this interest only comes as its price goes up, which is precisely the fomo. I don't think this bull run is going to last, it might end in the near future and prepare for a bear season.

Understanding that it is not the whole year, only when the dominance of BTC goes down that increases the alarms that it will be activated, there are many currencies that show it, as is the case of ETH, the case of BNB, EOS that rose 100% , now LTC is giving a lot to talk about:

The ongoing rise might continue as there have been no fixations so far. In addition, the buying trading volume keeps growing. In summary, the more likely scenario is the test of the $420 mark.

In fact the top 10 alts are growing in price, that is, they are in green, of course many that have always been among the first are being attacked by bears, such as DOT, that is why we still cannot say that the season of alts is not all year round.

It could be so, because now it is also very visible that the money that goes into stocks has started to decrease because stock players have entered crypto to find more profits, and it just so happens that this is the right time to enter crypto, it is clear that they will would love to be in crypto for a long time if they could be profitable every month.
Yes i exactly have same thought that crypo is a great and popular platform than any other platform. I also was in forex but when i have found crypto i am with it. Its a hugh volatile markey always have a chance of huge gaining . That's why most of us like crypto. I think the year is also for both alt and btc everything on good move.

Goldman Sacks has a fund for its wealthy investors.

So, I see a lot of USA people coming into the market slowly for now and more as ETFs are approved.

To me this means that Alt season will be all year round for years to come.

In the longer term it could mean that less money goes into stocks.
I do agree that there will be less "people" that go into stocks, don't know about the money part though. The reason for that is simple, there are more people who are "not rich", obviously there are more people who are poor, but there are also less and less rich people as well, the top 1% is getting richer and richer which comes at the expense of people who were middle class, first it was below middle class that became about as poor as you can drop from there, still not poverty but poor, then middle class dropped significantly, and now a bit above middle class lives the life of below middle class of 20 years ago.

This means all these people could be getting into crypto and that is why "number of people" could increase in crypto a lot and decrease in stocks. However the top 1% is getting so insanely rich that "money" that goes into stocks could still keep going up.

Agreed, so many people were actively trading on the stock market has been moving to the crypto. The daily trade volume of crypto is increasing a lot. So many bankers are worrying if crypto can take over the traditional economic system to be replaced with the modern and decentralized economic system like crypto.
The altcoin season is still running right now. it might end next years but no one know about that for sure. The bitcoin is still showing the bullish trend.

Altcoin season means the majority of the coin in the crypto market are gaining price consistently. It means that any altcoins can pump the price any moment as long as it is listed on a good exchange with a good volume.

I'm new to crypto and this forum.  I've read that there are alt seasons and now is the the time.  From what I'm seeing the general public is just becoming aware of it from the main stream media and business channels.  In the USA there is 1 ETF that I know about -GBTC and it isn't a good one.   So, that mean joining an exchange which is a pain and has a learning curve.
