Your avatar is Beautiful...

Edit: I think what shes saying is the technology behind paypal and such is cryptic by nature.

I read an article today on how members of the bitcoin high council (I think that is what its called) were totally against Alt-coins.

That sounds kinda centralized right there.

That is not the point. The point is that we need to embrace as a community different options when we choose to store value in a virtual currency.

It is a mistake to wear the "bitcoin t-shirt" and claiming that "bitcoin" is the ultimate best solution.

Recently liberty reserve went down. If one was a "liberty reserve fan" then that person took a loss for not diversifying their crypto-folio enough.

Take off the I LOVE Bitcoin Tshirt and put on the I LOVE Crypto-Currencies Tshirt.

Maria.

PS. Answering from my phone please excuse the typos.

how do you have so many posts yet clearly have no idea what a crypto currency is. hint: it's not paypal, or perfect money.

i'm being trolled right?

Hmmm yessss, lets make DrugCoin, LaundyCoin, TerrorCoin, and other coins like so to gain negative attention to bait the bad guys looking to regulate Bitcoin "for our safety" away from Bitcoin.

Yes, they are. And they all existed before bitcoin was born.

If cryptography is not the key protection of the currencies I mentioned, tell me what does.

Maria.

Centralization is.
And there's your answer.

First you need to understand what a "Crypto-currency professional" is.

I accept many crypto currencies. Perfect Money, Web Money, Pecunix, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bytecoin, Paypal and many many others.

If you only trade bitcoin, then you need to evolve.

Bitcoin has awaken the evil side of the US Government. Soon to follow will be massive effort to control and regulate the currency by criminalization and taxation.

The only way to beat the government at this game is to evolve from a "casual bitcoin user" to a "serious Crypto-currency professional".

Bitcoin is beta. Un experimento.
