Reason: Probably one of the best coins out there in terms of "integration". They have fantastic customer relationships and have already integrated their technology in major banks around the globe, so they are already being adopted by many giants out there. Another good point is that they serve the Asian market, which has a very high potential and acts as a good hedge in case you only have American projects going on (it's similar to owning NEO, which is the "counterparty" of Ethereum in Europe and the US).

Undoubtedly IOT will have a huge impact in the future and the market will surpass several billions if not trillions of dollars within the coming years, IOTA is by far the pioneer and leader regarding that sector, so it makes it a good bet in case you want to invest in it. The potential returns can be really out of mind in this case.

I believe stellar and ripple. some my project use their api. I want use ethereum api too but it's hard to learn than xlm
I think I will monitor IOTA because I am a little interested in it. and if I can argue it looks like the ripple will be slightly changed next year but not conspicuous.
I think all of these coins rocket only XRP, all the rest will fall and never rise.

Think 2018 will be a difficult year for altcoins. Overload of coins and ICO's/token will make traders more cautious and only go for the most promising and safe investment. Also Tezo-like incidents will (hopefully) push new entrepeneurs to invest in liability and confidence.

We do not know the future and we cannot predict any news that can make any of them rocket or crash, but from the look of last year to this year and judging it with next year, I do not expect any of the coins you have listed there to remain the same. If it does, then it needs to bounce from the market. However, i still feel XRP is a time bomb but who knows? We can only speculate.Ripple (xrp)

I love the IOTA project, and hope they will achieve some great things in the coming years 
I really hope IOTA will make some pretty good move in the coming years cause I am not really that impressed at the moment as much as I love the project. But like they always say, patience. However, SIA is one coin I am even more angry at the devs. The recent dump was bad and it does not speak well for the coin at all, and I really hope they can recover. I guess we will just have to stay tuned and keep watching.
I have been watching IOTA. Its price didn't go up since the ICO but for speculations is okay.

in 2018 best raising alt coins are Siacoin, steem, funfair coin. those are best coins in 2018. so try to invest in that alt coins. mostly we have to use for alt coins only in starting to trading so any one starting trading in 2018 then invest in this coins and get more profit from that. golem also may raise up next via coin. they all are best investing alt coins.
PIVX and CRAVE are my top choices for 2018.
PIVX is the first coin to implement full Zero Coin protocol privacy in a 100% Proof of Stake coin - it's definitely a good investment right now!!
The wallets on exchanges are currently getting upgraded for this change, once that's done I'm expecting a huge increase in price, at least another 25% up.
And CRAVE is a very good coin - active development, easy to setup a masternode with only 500 coins needed per node... cheap price, high returns.
There's only 1.4 Million coins, so they are quite rare as well. What's not to like?

I believe these coins will be good for 2018: Waves, Aventus, Neo and Ark.
I am having high hopes for NEO. They had a stop in growth due to all news with banning ICOs in China but I expect that it will start going up after the dust settles.
I believe in Altcoins, and especially on the air and bought a few others. The price is now suitable for buying and there is hope, only there is time to wait.
I still think SIAcoin is undervalue by the market, they have a working product unlike most projects in the space, I like the technology behind IOTA but still think onus is on them to make it go mainstream
Snip with the live product will try to attack the market. I meant a lot of token will come everymonth and the old coin must try to offer something new in the future and I can say the price of the coin will increase everytime.

I like xrp in the above list, it has a good future and okay for a long term. I may add waves and ethereum altcoins to be added in your list. These will gives you profit in the future.

Ripple although it will increase, I can't really see it going crazy and giving anything like x10 but I could be wrong.
Stellar and SIA I have heard many talking about these but I haven't yet looked into them.
Sia is dead, they cant recover anymore from their last dump, it is impossible for them to do it. Just remember when the price was more than 5x of the actual price just four months ago, it is worth dust at the moment, there is no important value from it and the devs are just ignoring the whole community who supports them, i dont see a good future for them unless they change their attitude.

IOTA, Ripple and Stellar and good coins for 2018. I am not sure about SIA, I am not in it and I will not buy. Instead I bought ardor, ark and humaniq for 2018. They will rise up with the next seasons
Personally I think Ripple and Stella will do well, mainly due to their partnerships that are forming with large companies (IBM etc)
The others, I would not hold in my portfolio, but that is just me.

We can't tell but time will tell. All of them are just keep on moving upward and downwards so I can't tell on what are the future of these coins or what's going to happen next year to them.
Everyone seems to talk about Ripple, IOTA and SIA. I know that stellar was also in the portfolio of most of the traders but I'm checking through social media traders.
Others are holding thousands of SIA because they are hoping that it will be pumping very soon.

For me it's stellar all the way. I hold all coins listed except iota and my only realistic hope is stellar. The recent collaboration with IBM is just the start. It will start to see good growth based on
1) actual use case with IBM international transfers
2) mainstream perception of a well established and well renowned company buying into its technology - leads to mainstream adoption and long term exponential growth
3) other large players (well established household names) will also get into bed with stellar in 2018
That's my thought anyway.
Can't see ripple doing too well tbh (stellar will probably match its price within 6 months) and sia looks to be dying :-(

I have mixed feelings about IOTA, it may be a sleeping giant but I think it will be huge at long term when ceyptocurrencies and blockchain as a whole is accepted worldwide,
Out of the other coins in the list there are only two coins that will make it in the future, WAVES is a good one and Tenx/Pay I am a huge fan of since the beginning, they have a young a brightfull team and an amazing community, out of all in my oppinion a good community is a must for a project to grow.
My personal favorite is also Vertcoin/VTC, this coin will be huge and has great potential, it will eventually beat Litecoin and it will be much bigger.
It seems like everyone is giving input on their own favorites for 2018 ... I think the OP is asking what we all think about the coins he listed in the original post.

Ripple - Totally stay away coin. Explained it too many times why I think this way.
IOTA - Probably the best coin of these four, but don't really like the dev team. Tech could be great but I don't really get how it works in depth.
Stellar - Could be good but I would never invest in a coin that hat a 200% pump recently. What I also see critical is IBM wanting to use Stellar tech but it's not sure if they need the coins.
SIA - I have some but I'm not seeing a big uptrend. The devs probably want the value to stay low so their product is cheap to use. Good for users and the platform but bad for investors.
Personally I can only comment in regards to SIA: its value has declined quite severely from 550-750 sats last june to a mere 60 sats these days. It appears a lot of holders have jumped ship but there's still some dev activity going on. Don't know is SIA is going to survive 2018, but if it does, you could enter nowadays at very low prices. I think about getting a bunch of them myself.

I think Status will do well almost immediately. They are the Universal Sponsor of DEVCON3 (a bigger sponsor than even Microsoft) and said that they are announcing some big news there. From what I have heard, they will also be announcing membership in the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. I don't know for certain with that though, just seen it posted places online.
Devcon3 is Nov. 1-4 so, if this news will affect SNT positively, it should start happening soon. It doesn't hurt that SNT is essentially at its ATL right now. I'm invested and will see what happens.

Ripple, I have never had high hopes for. I don't expect much out of it.
IOTA I think has decent potential for 2018 -- most likely a slight upward trend.
Stellar I would expect to be stagnant, but it is kind of a wild card for me. It might take off.
I think SIA is on it's way out. I have given up on it entirely (after accumulating and mining it for nearly a year).
That being said -- your guess is as good as mine. You never know what will happen.
I don't think there will be much change in these altcoins. I trust only one of these, Sia.
