yes you are correct the condition of the altcoin price depends on the movement of the conditions of the bitcoin price and it is natural that like that because when bitcoin is crowded and the transaction is solid it will definitely try to use altcoins to make transactions from the main market to other markets.

Hello. A lot of different information on the net. In reality, the cost of all coins depends on the cost of the BTC. Of course there are special cases when for Alt intentionally make growth.

In fact, the influence of altcoin and bitcoin is mutual. Sometimes there will be some type of altcoin, but they will not have much impact on bitcoin, but when bitcoin becomes a "pump", most altcoins Will fall.

Can someone tell me why the Alt coins price is affected so much my bitcoin price?
Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies so if those alts are much affected by bitcoin's price, you know why it's important in the crypto economy.

I feel.like I'm investing in excellent altcoin projects but due to bitcoin they just seem to plummet........argggggg. Many thanks in advance
Altcoins are not the only coins that's plummeting now even bitcoin does.
Invest if you are ready and if you fine with taking risk. If you are discouraged with altcoin's now, why not buy bitcoin?

yes you are right that the condition of bitcoin prices can affect the condition of altcoin prices so you have to be alert when the price of bitcoin moves up so you can buy altcoins and when the price of bitcoin falls you have to get ready to sell altcoins and secure your assets.

yes you are right the price of bitcoin determines the movement of altcoin prices with the bitcoin price that is currently falling so the altcoin price will also fall, and when the price of bitcoin rises then the altcoin price will also rise it has become a very reasonable movement.
It is not always like that, we cannot speculate prices of altcoins only based on price of the bitcoin, we need to undrestand that they are not connected, of course sometimes those prises rise together but it won't be like that always.

The price of Bitcoin has become a reference for other altcoin prices, so the rise and fall of bitcoin prices will certainly affect the price of other coins, unless the altcoin has high fundamentals, the price may not have an effect

Can someone tell me why the Alt coins price is affected so much my bitcoin price? I feel.like I'm investing in excellent altcoin projects but due to bitcoin they just seem to plummet........argggggg. Many thanks in advance
The whole reason is a relatively large level of bitcoin capitalization compared to the total capitalization of the remaining crypto-currencies. This allows the bitcoin to completely dominate the price over all types of crypto currency. To ensure that bitcoin does not provide such a price dominance, it is necessary that its level of capitalization is significantly lowered and not much different from other coins.

Altcoins are affected with bitcoin price because first bitcoin is the king of all crypto with highest demand in the market. Also  bitcoin is always need when you buy altcoins that's why if bitcoin drop, altcoins also drops. Another reason you use bitcoin in trading with altcoin but if you want to withdraw and cash out money all your altcoin is need to exchange first into bitcoin before converting into a fiat money.

The fact that altcoins are affected by BTC rates is quite normal in this market. At present, BTC is the highest exchange rate in the market, and of course, it will affect the remaining cryptos so that the altcoins exchange rates increase and decrease at the exchange rate of BTC is completely understandable.

Yes altcoin is depend on bitcoin because the market will be value transaction on crypto market. Now altcoin price is very much low because bitcoin market is down. Market will be growing then altcoin will be increase so hold altcoin and get more profit. Before few month ago the bitcoin price is up to 16k but now bitcoin price is so much low but don't upset because market will be success after few month then alt coin price is too much high just wait and see this crypto market. I really low crypto market and i have some buy altcoin hold for some few month.

I think Bitcoin has an influence on altcoin prices and therefore it is important for traders to be able to analyze Bitcoin price movements,
indeed in reality all crypto prices are based on bitcoin. bitcoin is central. when bitcoin has decreased, the altcoin will also decline. and vice versa, if bitcoin experiences a price increase then alycoin will start following it.

Almost every exchange tied the altcoins to BTC, if their not tied to ETH. That's why if BTC goes down, all crypto tokens will go down too in terms of USD price as it was tied to BTC. It's like the Law of Relativity or it's like how a specific market/country crashes when their currency crashes in value too in FORex. It's like a common occurrence in the market. Wether it be stocks or the crypto market.

The exchanges may give you a value based on bitcoin, but that's not tying them together. Just because it tells you that 1 altcoin is worth x bitcoin doesn't mean that if one goes up the other has to go down. These exchanges have no impact on the price.

Forex is the same. A dollar is the same whether it's valued in terms of euro, franc, gold, corn, or donkey pelts. When a trader decides to buy one and sell the other, of course he will impact the price of both. But that is the decision of the trader, not the exchange.

I think when the price of bitcoin begins to rise sharply, traders in fear of missing out on profits sell altcoins and buy bitcoin. And when the price of bitcoin drops sharply, traders looking at the best price of bitcoin also sell altcoins to buy cheap bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first and most important electronic currency of the market. Bitcoin affects prices for the entire altcoin market. As Bitcoin prices slip, the rest of the money market will slip sharply. Conversely, when Bitcoin grows back, altcoins tend to work better

This is not entirely true, maybe in the past it was too related that every bitcoin dropped meant that altcoins rose and every bitcoin rose, altcoin dropped.
Since plunging into the trading world a year ago, there have been several altcoins that have no effect with the rise and fall of bitcoin but this year it has actually lost 50% of its value.
I think because of market demands, the lack of passion for the market and the lack of good news affect the price of altcoins today

For me I can see that altcoins and bitcoin is not connected, "sometimes" why? it is because some altcoins stands independent because they have different investors who choose to hold, sell and trade which like to call marketing contro.

Yes it is a fact that sometimes when bitcoin goes down the specific altcoin goes down as well but that can be changed due to investors who seek to buy the specific altcoin they want.

To understand it, sometimes altcoin is independent and not it is because of the people who hold and buy altcoin.

In short they move because of the people who manipulates the market of the cryptocurrency.

Yeah I don't understand why people seem to think that they are directly connected. They have patterns, they follow similar paths sometimes, but no, they are not the same asset. Sometimes one goes up while the other goes down, but usually they aren't too far from each other. Just like silver and gold.

Altcoins have a lot of risk to be manipulated because the market cap is so small. Anyone with a few hundred thousand lying around can jump into a lot of different altcoins and smash the price around. Or just take the whole thing over with a 51% hack.

if you are the same as the coin that you hold right now it is good to keep the coin until the bitcoin price stabilizes, because the price of the altcoin will not rise if the price of bitcoin continues to decline and surge, because they think the price of bitcoin is experiencing a creash. the price of bitcoin is stable.

Bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency so market sentiment depends on bitcoin prices. If bitcoin prices go up then altcoins will come down because people sell altcoins to invest in bitcoin and if bitcoin prices go down again altcoin prices will come down even worse because people think that market is crashing but altcoin prices go up only when bitcoin prices stable.

If you have invested in a good project then don't worry about the current market price, just hold them and when the market recovers all good coins mostly recover faster than shit coins.

Bitcoin is a price reference in almost all exchanges, naturally if bitcoin rises altcoin also rises and vice versa, but the rise in altcoins can also be affected by traders' buying and selling exchanges, if the price of the demand rises automatically there is a price pump so the altcoin prices rise, besides that the price of altcoin is affected by the trust of investors who make deposits in order to gain multiple profits.

What are those excellent altcoins that you invested? before buying those altcoins, what coin you have in able to purchase those altcoins you have? All of these altcoins are pairs with bitcoin in many exchanges so that's how they are affected. For example, with your excellent altcoins.
You need bitcoin to buy those excellent altcoins and when you're ready to sell it, you'll sell it again for bitcoins.

The transaction volume between them is not uniform and of course the transaction volume of bitcoin is larger and the altcoin is smaller. That means that just a large enough amount you can make an altcoin with low transaction volume increasing the value to several times. And of course if you want to make bitcoin more valuable you need a huge amount of money to do that.
