With out Lykke, NON! Lykke is almost finished with its new platform and will release credit cards soon (a month). Then any coin in Lykke app will be equal to cash money!
But ... I'm a big fan of DASH, I believe is the only currency that can be used with onchain transactions and works like cash!

What ever Master card, Visa and other major payment processors doing is in conflict with every cryptocurrency user's interests, there are many not few

Many service providers depending on their governments, even if they do want to provide their services to anonymous crypto users, their governments

Would stop them by bullying them and if we decide to use a middle man to act as the card holder and we just deposit our coins into their cards and when

Ever we're trying to use our debit or credit cards the middle man shows his face instead but the fees they're taking from us is too high. we are supposed

To directly take control of our banking in crypto, now they're trying to put a middle man again between us and the merchants. with 1MB block size or

10MB you can only process a few hundred transactions per second, currently there is no blockchain capable of 1-10 million Tx/s because every miner

Is trying to be the whole network, if all the miners had a chance to process every Tx incoming at any moment even 20M Tx was the easiest job for them.

Before bitcoin is born, MC / VISA is experienced in debit card and has huge users and subscribers.
if in the future bitcoin adopts mc / visa system and use one kind of coin just like Dash may be more perfect
but between the bitcoin system and the banking system is different

There are already cards that is made by the name of an altcoin and because of that you can transfer cryptocurrency into your card and you can use it anywhere like for shopping and paying bills and so on. Soon there will be a good visa card from altcoin that will eliminate the current mc and visa.

I like LTC, it's quick for transactions ... but will it function with this amount of speed if its market cap goes up?

what other coins would you recommend that can be used as daily payment tools... I heard DASH is okay for that as well... why is that?
Apart from saying the coin name can you explain a little as to why you think it's practical for daily use.

Thanks in advance !
Without no doubt i told you about the future crypto that will be replaced visa https://techcrunch.com/2017/09/18/ethereum-will-replace-visa-in-a-couple-of-years-says-founder/
Ethereum should be a good choice for you, In the next year eth should be a massive payment currency as long as the byzantium already supported the network.

Maybe in 2020 this will happen. Nobody can beat VISA-MC until this today. Now thats why Whales are against crypto currencies.
We have to beat VISA-MC to make a better world. Probably this war will be a long one.

I suppose that MC/Visa won't disappear in future - too big business. They will adopt blockchain technologies for their own tasks and that is all. Maybe it's not so radical as it should be at crypto community, but I think so))

Replacing Mastercard and Visa seems currently unbelievable for me. Crypto has it's place in community like visa card. These cards are supported by banks, are used almost everywhere and are current everywhere accepted active payment way. Altcoins aren't like that, they often change price so if you hold 100$ in altcoin, when you would use it for buying something, you could have 120 or 70$ (I took this numbers for example).
For daily use I like litecoin, low fees and fast confirmation. Also use dash or whatever you want for low fees and fast confirms.

PIVX would be a great replacement coin, it's like Dash only better.  https://pivx.org/

It's fast and private, has a Point of Sale payment terminal, mobile wallets and is just a currency coin, it doesn't try to be anything else.

WavesNG due for release on 10/10 is scaled for mass fast transactions.

I don't think any distributed blockchain based coin can currently (or in the near/medium term) compete with EMV as far as transactions per second are concerned. More likely this will be done by using seamless and transparent (for the user) gateways to one or more centralized payment provider.
